The Mitchells took to the air.
A sight that would make people below either cheer or run, depending on whose side you were on.
They had fun in formation and then many came by for close-ups.
Champagne Gal did a fly by with her bomb bay doors open.
Then she did a high speed pass with them closed.
Devil Dog came in for a close up
Georgie's Gal came by to let everyone admire the nose art.
Miss Mitchell was not to be outdone
Rosie's Reply flew over her home field with aplomb.
Show Me showed herself off.
Take off Time also wanted to show off her nose art.
Next, Wild Cargo also came in for a close up.
As did Yankee Doodle.
A bit more formation flying was done.
Then they came in to land.
An excellent display of formation flying by these wonderfully historic aircraft. This may be the last time so many B-25s fly together.

There were two, maybe three, of them at the airshow I went to and posted about, back in the spring. You're lucky to have seen so many. Yes, I'm jealous!
Nice Pics.
Great pics, thanks for sharing!
Back in the day (late 60's early 70's), the local FBO (Ed "Red Baron" Browning) put on a pretty decent air show every summer. A B-25 (don't remember the name)was offering rides for an affordable price (pre OPEC embargo). I, of course, ponied-up, I mean how often do you get to ride on a B-25? Aside from nearly having to have my 'S' eating grin surgically removed, my most lasting memory was how LOUD those twin radials were on the inside of the aircraft. I gained a new respect for the flight crews who spent hours inside that noisemaker day after day.
