Of Course They Did

After Macklemore was kicked off Ed Sheeran’s tour following his Gaza stunt—bringing partisan politics and what critics called antisemitic imagery onto the stage—he was out.

His past antics probably didn’t help either, including a performance in which he appeared to give a Nazi-style salute while dressed as a stereotypical caricature of an Orthodox Jewish man.

Off the tour he went.

And now the predictable outrage has arrived: the Left claims his removal somehow violated his free-speech rights.

So, of course, Dearborn’s Progressive Muslim mayor has invited Macklemore to perform a free concert in Dearborn—sponsored by the city and, therefore, supported by taxpayers.

Then there’s Hamtramck, another Detroit-area city with a large Muslim population.

Its former police chief, according to reports, advised officers that wife-beating should not be treated as a formal crime because it isn’t prohibited under Sharia law.

That claim takes on an especially ugly dimension given allegations that the former chief himself repeatedly beat his wife. Those allegations are just that—allegations—but they make his reported position on domestic violence all the more disturbing.

The chief is now out of the job amid allegations involving this conduct and other corruption issues. He was also the founder of the NYPD Muslim Officers Society and the Yemeni American Law Enforcement Officers Association, and I'm sure there's no possible issues with either of those organizations.

The larger point is difficult to miss.

A movement that presents itself as progressive and tolerant can still make plenty of room for people and ideas that are deeply hostile to liberal democratic values.

And the history is hardly new. Islamist movements have, at various times, found common cause with fascist and Nazi movements, including the infamous alliance between Nazi Germany and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem beginning in the 1930s.

How very progressive.

Very Convenient Timing By Kristoff And The New York Times

Quite interesting how the unsubstantiated opinion piece by Nicholas Kristoff in the  New York Times to bash Israel with lurid claims that Israel had prisons with dogs trained to sexually abuse prisoners, just happened to come out a day before a report on actual and documented sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas and the Gazans:

Why, one might almost think it was not a coincidence and deliberately run to get the factual report of Hamas and Gazan depravity from the headlines and distract attention from it.

The New York Times did not cover the report on the October 7 attack at all. 

Funny, that.

Funny also that one must point out that Israelis security personnel were previously criticized for refusing to rape Arab women, because racism, or something.   Yep, that claim actually happened, twice.

Well, Waddiya Know?

Yet again, The "International Community" and the Gazans have been caught lying.

A fellow named Fadi Al-Waddiya was killed in an Israeli strike.

Israel noted he was a enemy combatant at the time. 

Doctors Without Borders immediately decried the strike, claiming Waddiya was just one of their medics and a family man.

Well, waddiya know, it turns out that Palestinian Islamic Jihad has now confirmed that Fadi Al-Waddiya was indeed the deputy commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s manufacturing unit when he wasn't moonlighting for Doctors Without Borders.

Doctors Without Borders was shocked, simply shocked, on hearing the news - and refuses to allow a vetting of their local staff for terrorist ties.

Israeli Hostages Released

The last 20 living Israeli hostages have finally been returned. The bodies of the dead have yet to be exchanged.

Unfortunately the release of the hostages meant releasing 1,900 Arabs many of whom were in prison for mass murder and other acts of terrorism.

The exchange rate as demanded by Hamas was practically 100 Arab prisoners for each living Israeli.

This may signal the start of a ceasefire that may hold for awhile.

Well, it will likely hold until Hamas or the PA feel frisky enough to break it again, just as Hamas broke the last ceasefire that was in place on October 7 2023. 

Hamas And Holy Days

While the UN passed a resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza for Ramadan, they made no effort to have one imposed for Yom Kippur.

Not that Hamas would have honored it in any case, as they certainly have a lack of respect for anyone else holy days, much less their own. The latest conflict, as you may remember, kicked off on October 7 with Hamas committing a massacre and kidnapping during a Jewish Holiday of Simchat Torah.

Sure enough, Hamas just did rocket attack during Yom Kippur  today.

Sirens were sounded in the city of Ashdod and the surrounding area on Wednesday evening, at around 8:50 p.m., as Israelis observed Yom Kippur - the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated that five projectiles were fired by Hamas terrorists from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory.

No urgent resolution nor condemnation from the UN for this latest attack during the holiest day for Jews.

The French Judge may be on to something here.

If all the Gazans move to France, they could then become a majority in an area of the country, then breakaway and form something that has never existed in all of history: A Palestinian State. 

I'd propose for that state the old borders of Vichy France:

 

After all, the French were rather comfortable when Vichy was setup by the Nazis as a rump state.  

Hamas et al have a very similar political and philosophical ideology to the Nazis, and indeed deep historical ties and alliances with Nazism. After all, the French let Nazi ally Haj Amin Al-Husseini slip away after the war, so the French should be very comfortable with this practical solution.

Yep, this French judge may be on to something.  

With France already 13% Muslim (up from 10% in 2023 and it's accelerating, and Islam is already the second largest religion in France) and growing, what's a few more Gazans added to the mix to bring it up a few more percent, n'est-ce pas?

The result is rather interesting.  In short Hamas has been lying yet again about casualty rates and even more importantly who the casualties are in Gaza.

With this revision, instead of the casualties being 70% women and children as falsely claimed by Hamas' Health Ministry, and believed by the gullible around the world, the new percentage when looking at the revised Hamas' Health Ministry stats is that 72% of casualties are males of Hamas combatant age. 

Funny, that.

In short, even Hamas' own stats are showing that Israel is not only not committing a "genocide"  but also that the civilian casualty rate is again lower than claimed by Hamas and they're caught lying- yet again.

Don't expect the media and those who have been reporting and believing Hamas' lies to apologize for such anytime soon, nor to be at least a tad bit skeptical before reporting claims from Hamas as credible.  It's clearly too much to as news agencies to state when they republish Hamas' casualty claims that Hamas has been caught making these casualty figures up multiple times now.

Israelis Rescue 4 Hostages - Kamala Commiserates With Hamas

Israel's National Police Hostage Rescue Unit,YAMAM, along with supporting forces, just pulled off a stunning coordinated rescue of 4 hostages in two separate locations within the Gaza Strip.

Now named Operation Arnon, after the 34-year old Yamam Commander Arnon Zamora killed during the rescue operation, the rescue mission successfully retrieved 4 hostages held by Hamas since October 7.  Hamas in this case includes a Hamas journalist that works for Al Jazeera and the Palestine Chronicle (a media organization with ties to the USA) who held the hostages in his house. he won;t be holding anyone hostage ever again, nor spouting propaganda anymore either.

So, of course, the Biden Administration sends Kamala out to kiss up to the pro-Hamas Islamists that they are counting on for support in November in Michigan, Minnesota and elsewhere:

The BBC tried to top that stupidity by asking the IDF spokesman why the IDF didn't warn the Gazans ahead of time about the raid.  Yes, the bint really seriously asked that.

Be sure to take the Hamas-run Health Ministry claims of casualties with a ton of salt. We know they lie, they know they lie, the media reporting the figures know they lie, and yet they still credulously report them, verbatim, as truth.

After all, if Hamas and Gaza doesn't want casualties, they can end this by releasing all the hostages.  If they don't want civilian casualties they can quit fighting from behind civilians and quit using "civilians" to keep the hostages prisoner.

Hamas HQ Found Under UNWRA Gaza Headquarters

Hamas had a major bunker and tunnel complex right underneath the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza - even getting electricity for it form UNRWA.

Of course UNRWA is claiming to be deaf, dumb and blind stating they haven't been at that the location since October 12.

The massive complex had clearly been there for far longer than October 12 - you can't build a bunker like that surreptitiously under another building in that amount of time, and it is pretty clear people at UNRWA headquarters knew exactly what was going on while it was being built and this adds to the already extensive proof of the close connections and cooperation and participation of UNRWA with Hamas.

The ICJ Decision

 In short, the ruling is preliminary, and no, it does not say Israel is committing genocide, only that the court may have jurisdiction to investigate if that is happening and, that. shocker, Israel shouldn't commit genocide.

In short the decision basically refused to dismiss South Africa's  case and holds the court may have jurisdiction to examine the accusations and South Africa may have standing to bring its claim (see page 12  and page 24).

The cool question will be, if South Africa continues it's plan to withdraw from the ICC and ICJ, and it keeps refusing to enforce ICC and ICJ orders, would it still have standing? Be sure to pass the popcorn if that happens before this case is resolved.

The decision does not say Israel was committing genocide in Gaza.

It did say Israel should take steps to prevent a genocide in Gaza. Since Israel isn't committing a genocide, that's rather easy for Israel to do.

It did say Hamas was to immediately release the hostages it holds unconditionally (p.24).

I suggest you do not hold your breath waiting for Hamas to comply.

It did, ridiculously say that:  "The State of Israel shall take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance to address the adverse conditions of life faced by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip"

This of course goes against the whole point of siege warfare, and also improperly requires Israel to do something its not required under actual  international and military law to do. 

At least they didn't order that Israel has to keep providing jobs for Gazans, so we can be thankful for that.  For now, anyways. 

We can also note that Egypt and not Israel controls one of the borders with Gaza.

In no other conflict has an adversary been ordered to enable or provide such to its adversary - especially as the fact is that Hamas uses these supplies to provide for its fighters.  If anything it is Hamas responsibility to provide such and they've gone out of their way to not provide  such services so they can complain to the world about it.

Other than that,  it basically said some Israelis have used bad language such as calling Hamasniks animals, which is dehumanizing per the court and Israeli officials shouldn't say such hurtful things about an organization and its members that beheaded babies, raped women and massacred civilians.(p.17-18). Quelle Horreur.

Oh, and the court ordered that Israel is to provide a report in a month on how it is following the court's order.

In short, the order is not even all sound and fury signifying nothing.  It is far less than that, but is yet another troubling example of lawfare.

Again, the fact remains that the population of Palestinians in Gaza has continued to increase  massively over the years since 1967 when it was taken over from Egypt. Even since 2005 when Israel completely pulled out of Gaza the population there has continued to grow. So, if Israel is committing genocide as claimed, they're not just doing an extremely crappy job at it, as they're apparently causing conditions that lead to the exact opposite of genocide.

The Court should have dismissed the claim outright, but instead the case will continue to wind its way through the process.

Arab Medical Staff In Royal Oak Beaumont Protest And Lie For Gaza

Well the Arab medical staff of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak came out to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and the destruction of Israel at the same time.

We will note they couldn't be bothered to condemn the Hamas terrorist attack that kicked it off, nor any mention of that in the protest, nor on their Facebook Page, or their organization website.

Funny, that.

Note that a lot of them were still wearing their Beaumont uniforms in the video.

Sure, they've got the right to protest and show the scum that they are, but I would have hoped their employer would not approve of such conduct on company time, company grounds, and in company uniforms. 

Certainly makes me think twice about going to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak for any medical treatment.

 In the linked instagram video they were, after their bromide "the people united will never be defeated" - in which case why demand a ceasefire if you will never be defeated?   They then started going "long live the intifada" - that chant is not exactly calling for a ceasefire. In fact it's the opposite.

Supporting the intifada, which is a call for terrorist attacks against Israel, would to most rational people imply you really don't get to ask for a ceasefire at the same time that you're calling for armed violence, neh?  

Is that a Hippocratic or is that a hypocritic oath in their case?

They're also waiving signs that are lying about "genocide" in Gaza.

Given the Arab population of Gaza has increased from in 2012 1,644,293 million to 2,106,745 today and its expected to double to over 4 million by 2050, this has to be the most inept "genocide" ever.

In short they lie, a lot, no surprise there.

Europe Wants To Dip Into Gaza - What Could Go Wrong?

Well, lots of things.

When UN peacekeepers can be detained by Islamic terrorists, its not hard to imagine the same occurring to the European monitors.

Or even worse, considering the historical and current pro-Arab bias of the Europeans, having them "monitoring" the situation raises concerns as to how even handed they will be, if at all.

One can also see the monitors being used as a defensive buffer to prevent Israeli responses to Hamas attacks just as UNIFIL has been used by Hezbollah in Lebanon.

In short, European monitors are just not a good idea, and not a solution to the problem.

Unsurprisingly, Hamas continues to deliberately avoid complying with the terms of any ceasefire agreement.

Remember folks, the world expects and demands the Israelis to act as if Hamas will keep it's word when all the evidence shows they don't, and won't. If they can't even respect a 72-hour ceasefire that they asked for themselves, how can anyone credibly believe they'll honor their word on things like not rearming, digging more attack tunnels, or doing more kidnappings and terrorist attacks?

Over at Legal Insurrection Professor Jacobsen points out multiple instances of the latest lies from Hamas and how the media is falling for it - including the dead kid photo that was blamed on Israel and actually was killed due to a Hamas rocket having a premature explosion, and how the media center in Gaza has been shielding Hamas operatives.

Worth a read, and given the sheer number of Hamas propaganda lies already spotted, including their constantly using photos from Syria and trying to pass them off as Gaza, expect more to come.

This kind of crude lies and propaganda will continue until the western media deals at least as suspiciously with claims and photos by Hamas as they do claims and photos from Republicans.

Henry Herskovitz, 66, of Ann Arbor: Modern Kapo and Idiotarian Extraordinaire

Let's remember the facts: this started current battle after the Arabs in Gaza continued to lob hundreds of rockets into Israel, leading to Israel taking out one of Hamas' military heads as a message to stop the attacks.

Its bad enough when Detroit's Arabs conduct their lies and propaganda, but it is absolutely shameful when a Jew who should darn well know better that he's being used joins them.

Israel In Obama's New And Improved Middle East

Hamas continues to fire rockets that have hit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

It looks like Israel may expand the defensive measures to include ground forces to force Hamas to quit firing rockets at Israel. Hopefully that will be a success and they won't stop until they achieve a decisive victory against Hamas, or at least as decisive as possible before the UN and the US imposes a ceasefire to keep the conflict simmering.

Egypt's new (Obama supported) Muslim brotherhood government is coming out in support of its little-brother Muslim brotherhood Hamas and against Israel. Completely unexpected, at least by the Obama Administration.

Iran continues to move forward and accelerate its efforts toward making a nuclear weapon.

Meanwhile, there's protests against the king in Jordan.

The killing in Syria continues but has managed to slip out of the news except for Hillary offering Syria, presumably the new and improved anti-Syrian government coalition, $30 million in humanitarian aid.

And in a further example of Obama's smart new cohesive Middle East policy, just in time for the weekend: Iraq just released Hezbollah member Ali Mussa Daqduq and returned him to Lebanon, against US requests. So you know, Hezbollah's Daqdug was behind an attack in Iraq that killed 5 US soldiers. The US had him in custody in Iraq but under the Obama pull-out turned him over to the Iraqis and now he's free to kill more Americans.

How about that, Obama is just doing a bang-up job on Middle East policy.

Note how the Freep and its source for the article, AP, neglects any context - namely the hundreds of rockets recently fired by Hamas into Israel that sparked this retaliation.

The Israeli military says its assassination of the Hamas military commander marks the beginning of an operation against Gaza militants.

Wednesday’s airstrike in Gaza killed Ahmed Jabari, head of the Hamas military wing. The killing was a dramatic resumption of Israel’s policy of assassinating Palestinian militant leaders.

Good riddance to terrorist rubbish. Since Hamas started it they need to pay the price for their attacks.

As Moshe Dayan presciently said:

“It is not in our hands to prevent the murder of workers in the fields and families in their sleep, but it is in our hands to fix a high price for our blood, so high that the Arab community and the Arab military forces will not be willing to pay for it.”

May it be so, and may Israel's response help restore the deterrence of these types of attacks.

Reality and History Were Never The Arabists' Strong Suits

But there was something the Free Gaza Movement didn’t tell the archbishop: its co-founder and board chair is a Jew-hater named Greta Berlin who uses the organization as a platform form which to spread the ugliest anti-Semitic legends and, literally, Nazi propaganda and lies.

The Free Gaza Movement wants you to think that it is a group of humanitarians stirred to action by Israeli crimes against the Palestinians. But Berlin is something much nastier: a conscious propagandist of anti-Semitic hate — the kind of person with whom no Christian clergyman can associate himself in a common cause without causing grave scandal and harm.

On Sunday, the Free Gaza Movement posted this on its Twitter Feed: “Zionists operated the concentration camps and helped murder millions of innocent Jews” with a link to this awful video.

Wow, just wow, and Desmond Tutu is busy endorsing these nutcase Tranzis.

Accusing Jews of being Nazis is quite the way to whitewash the quite intimate associations and support of the Arabs for the holocaust, not to mention the Arab's and Islamists desire for a repeat performance, now isn't it?

But that's not all, apparently the Free Gaza Movement are quite the kindred spirits with the Nazis:

The film endorsed and linked in the tweet got another link — on the Facebook page Greta Berlin. She was so in love with this nastiness that she wanted to share it with her friends.

But this doesn’t exhaust the pro-Nazi activities of this “humanitarian” movement. The Free Gaza Movement is also touting an anti-Semitic film actually produced under the Propaganda Ministry of Joseph Goebbels during the Third Reich itself: a Nazi propaganda film on the Katyn massacre that tried to whip up hatred against Communists and Jews. And here, too, Greta Berlin, that exquisite connoisseur of cinema and tender-hearted lover of mankind, was so thrilled with this Goebbels’ hard-hitting investigative journalism and fearless proclamation of the truth that she posted a link to a download on her Facebook account.

Think about the cognitive dissonance revealed by that one: the head of the Free Gaza Movement posits the Nazis were Jews, yet at the same time heartily endorses a propaganda film by the Nazis that is anti-Jewish.

Rather like the typical Arab Holocaust denier - "it didn't happen, but Hitler didn't kill all the Jews and we'll finish the job".

It's always instructive when the Tranzi mask slips and the real evil underneath is revealed for all to see.

What happens when useful idiots aren't useful anymore

David Bernstein over at The Volokh Conspiracy notes the end of a pro-palestinian International Solidarity Movement volunteer from Italy who, while working to shield the terrorists of Hamas, was kidnapped by another Islamic terrorist group and killed when Hamas failed to meet the splinter group's demands. Bernstein also points out a particularly asinine tweet by the ISM about the murder.

Sort of an "own goal" as it were, not to mention a stupid choice of hostages.

You know Hamas doesn't see the ISMers as anything more than idiot human shields and propaganda pieces, so his value as a hostage for trade was nil (for a prior example, see Corrie, Rachel, Pancake). Either that, or the whole event was a setup to create an image of Hamas as comparatively moderate, which some media outlets already seem to have accepted. Had to say which really and it might be both at once.
