Chickens For KFC

Just like Chickens voting for KFC, Jewish Democrats voting for Abdul El-Sayed have yet to realize that denial is not just a river in Africa.

From the "Vote Blue No Matter Who" types (Query does that include Hitler?  it did include a man with a Nazi tattoo until the Dems figured out he wasn't going to win so....); to the "He's just anti-Israel not anti-Jewish types"; to  the "He doesn't really mean it, and hey Medicare for all";  to the "Better an Islamist than a Republican" types;  the Jews that vote for El-Sayed and his ilk are badly deluded at best or complicit at worst.

Op ed writier Nikki Vinkier is one of them:

The Detroit Free Press: I voted for Abdul El-Sayed. He needs to cut ties with Hasan Piker | Opinion

I voted for Abdul El-Sayed. I wanted him to win. And when he did, I was thrilled. I was relieved. And almost immediately, I was scared. Because while I was celebrating, I was hearing from Jewish friends, family and community members who felt angry and betrayed. Many said they would never vote for him in November.
Yep, unlike Nikki some Jewish Democrats actually read his statements, viewed his actions, and who he associates with, and used their brains and will not vote blue no matter who.  That this is what Nikki is scared of, rathert than the clear threat posed by El-Sayed and his ilk is just precious.
But worry not, her op-ed gets worse.

I watched criticism of the Israeli government repeatedly become conflated with hatred of Jewish people. I also watched legitimate fears about antisemitism become tangled in political rhetoric and, at times, dismissed altogether. As a result, many Jewish Democratic Michiganders are entering the general election feeling as though they cannot even consider supporting El-Sayed.

Those people doing the conflation are El-Sayed and his key supporters and main voting block, yet you voted for him Nikki.

It also requires an honest conversation about El-Sayed’s response to the attack on Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

To be clear, El-Sayed unequivocally condemned the attack.

Except he did not, Nikki, even as you yourself note:

He called it heinous and evil, said antisemitism has no place in our communities and affirmed the right of Jewish people to worship safely. He repeatedly said there was no justification for what happened. But he also repeated the phrase “hurt people hurt people” and drew a direct line from the deaths of the attacker’s relatives in Lebanon to his decision to target a synagogue.

He condemned and did not condemn it at the same time and blamed the "cycle of violence" for it and his "hurt people hurt people" bit to excuse it.

Sayed also willfully held back on discussing the Iranian dictator's death due to it upsetting his Islamic constituents and supporters - which would be a concern about him to most people, but you gloss right over that.

Anyhoo, Nikki keeps on trying to  drum up support for El-Sayed and figures out the solution: he should dump Hasan Piker with his America deserved 9/11 and his multiple antisemitic and anti-American rants, that'll do it:

There is one more barrier El-Sayed must address: His continued association with Hasan Piker.

I do not believe being seen with someone means automatically endorsing everything that person has ever said. But many Jewish friends I have spoken with felt El-Sayed’s response to their concerns about campaigning with Piker was insufficient. Then they watched Piker livestream from El-Sayed’s election-night party.

At some point, continued association becomes a choice. If El-Sayed wants to earn the trust of Jewish voters who are not with him yet, he must be willing to hear why that relationship concerns them, and show them where his own boundaries are.

Good luck with that one there, kapo.

Abdul campaigned alongside Piker, he agrees with Piker, he's not going to give him up because he and Piker are in lockstep.  He needs Piker, no matter how much you'd like to delude yourself otherwise. He's not just seen with Piker, Piker campaigns for him and he's on the stage holding hands with Piker because they believe in the same things:  Hating America, Hating Jews, and Hating Capitalism even as they both get rich from it.

Thank goodness some Democrat Jews are finally realizing  the Progressive Islamic Nazi-fest the Democratic Party has become.  Meanwhile people like Nikki still don't get it - or even worse they do and still choose to give up their birthright for a progressive mess of pottage.

If You Haven't Figured It Out Yet - Don't Trust And Do Verify

Ol' Honest Abe certainly knew what he was talking about when it comes to AI.

The Detroit Free Press: Attorney who used AI to cite fake cases sanctioned by Michigan court

The Michigan Court of Appeals has ordered financial sanctions against an attorney and referred him to the Attorney Grievance Commission for using artificial intelligence to cite non-existent cases in an appeal he filed.

As an attorney, contrary to the general public's belief, you cannot make stuff up to support your case, nor can you use AI to make stuff up to support your case.

That constitutes a fraud upon the court and is very much disfavored.

We've talked about this before, indeed a few times now, and some attorneys who certainly should absolutely know better by now are just not getting it.

Whether it is laziness, or falling for something that sounds so good for your case that it has to be true, or the desire to win at all costs, its a major problem and needs to stop.

When it comes to AI, or any other source that you plan to submit to the court,  you do not trust it and you need to verify that it is correct and properly represents the proposition you claim you are are using it for before you file it.

This is especially so for the siren call provided by hallucinogenic AI responses that just happen to perfectly provide the exact support for your case you asked from it.

The AI isn't going to be sanctioned for making stuff up, You as the attorney using it without verifying it will be, and properly so.

The Flag Of The Only County In The Middle East

Where gays and trannies don't get flying lessons by being thrown off buildings, is now considered by progressive LGBTQEIEIO idiots to be a "hateful symbol".

The Detroit News:  Michigan LGBTQ group labels Israel flag 'harmful symbolism'

Apparently the mere presence of Israeli flag at the pride march caused trauma and, per the director of the pride festival, "real harm" to gay Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrian, and other LGBTQs from those hotbeds of toleration for LGBT rights.

This is, of course, totally unlike the trauma and "real harm" they might experience of being thrown off buildings or being stoned to death for being LGBTQ in those hotbeds of toleration like Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

It's the National Institutes of Health, Not the National Institutes of Hijinks

Hijinks, in this case, of a very serious pathogenic nature.

The Detroit News: Feds: 2 researchers brought vials of monkeypox to DTW

The Detroit Free Press: Feds: 2 researchers smuggled monkeypox through Detroit airport

Two researchers with the National Institutes of Health have been charged with smuggling monkeypox into the United States and lying about it — an alleged crime that was detected at Detroit Metro Airport.

According to a criminal complaint unsealed on Tuesday, June 2 in U.S. District Court, one of the defendants is from the Netherlands, the other from Cameroon. Both are virus experts who work for the NIH at the Rocky Mountain Laboratory in Montana, in a lab that, according to the government, has the highest level of biosafety precautions for scientific research of known and potential human pathogens.

The "highest level of biosafety precautions".

Well, according to federal prosecutors, they allegedly bypassed proper procedures for transporting and importing dangerous pathogens, instead bringing the materials into the country in luggage and then lying about it.

Given their scientific expertise and workplace responsibilities, the allegations are especially striking.

This is the latest in a series of biological-material smuggling incidents uncovered at the Detroit Airport.

Midwesterner: UM faces federal investigation after students from China repeatedly busted for crimes in Michigan

USDOJ: Three Chinese National Scholars from University of Michigan Laboratory Charged for Conspiring to Smuggle Biological Materials into the U.S.

NIH Scientists acting like Mad Scientists is just not a good look.

No Matter How Much You Disdain The Mainstream Media

It's probably Not Enough.

After the attempted bombing in new York City of an anti-Islamic demonstration by two Islamists, the mainstream media hasn't just bent over backwards but twisted themselves in knots to obfuscate, downplay, confuse, cover-up and outright lie about the attack.

CNN started off by depicting the two Muslim attackers as "Pennsylvania men" who just happened to be going to New York City but whose trajectory somehow took a dark turn:

No mention at all of them yelling "Allahu Akbar" prior to throwing the devices, and in reading the glowing description of them, you would think they threw the bomb as part of an anti-Muslim protest rather than AT an "anti-Muslim protest". No mention of them making the ISIS Islamic salute after they were captured, either.

CNN then doubled down, as noted by Instapundit, reporting falsely that the bomb was thrown at Muslim Mayor of New York Mamdani

If your news source is CNN, you have simply no clue as to the actual facts of this occurrence (and likely any other news of import that a journo would not wish to shade to favor progressives or Islamists), at all.

The Misjudgment And Misbehavior Of The Millennial Attorney

As you might gather from the headline, my opposing counsel on a case is not just a new attorney but a millennial new attorney.

She unfortunately is living up to, if not proving the negative stereotypes about millennials.

She represents two clients: Child 1 and Child 2, the children of the sister of my client.

The sister, who has passed away, was the conservator for the mother.

Sister and Child 1 during the conservatorship, provably proceeded to embezzle or misappropriate over $100,000 from the mother's accounts and hide that  until the sister's death and the mother's death soon thereafter. We don't think Child 23 had anything to do with it.

My client, the son of the deceased mother, discovered the misappropriations when he became the estate's personal representative.

In short, he offers to divide up the estate with the children of the deceased sister receiving a share equal to his minus the 100,000 they have already taken.

Rather a fair offer, that.

Our Millennial Attorney declared that to be mean, and such an offer was "threatening".

No kidding.

Since then, she has refused and failed to respond to emails, including discussing potential resolution of the case and  emails from the court mediator.

Mediator sent out an email in early February for dates in March for the mediation, as there is a mediation cut off date of March 20, and we had proposed March 12.

Our Millennial Attorney does not respond at all.

March rolls around and millennial attorney has still not responded so I send out an email at the start of last week asking if March 12 is going forward.

Millennial Attorney finally responds that March 12 won't work and asks for dates in April - past the mediation cutoff date.

Mediator gives some April dates and I reply with some matching dates, noting the scheduling order now needs to be changed.

Millennial Attorney does not respond at all to either of us.

I email Millennial Attorney asking her to draft up a stipulated amendment to the scheduling order as we're now going to be late due to her delays.

Millennial Attorney does not respond.

I also email Millennial Attorney about accepting service on a related complaint against Child 1 and deceased sister for the misappropriation.

Millennial Attorney does not respond.

Yep, she is freaking ghosting me.

Millennial Attorney also does not answer discovery requests I had sent to her in January.   This hoses her client nicely as she didn't respond to Request for Admissions which means they are deemed admitted.  Oops on her part, as this will certainly help at trial.

I have to, and do a motion to compel her to answer the interrogatories and document requests and file it with the court. And I ask for sanctions.

I expect she may answer that, likely a day to two before the hearing so I can't get a reply brief in.

Again today, I email her with all the outstanding issues:  The mediation, changing the scheduling order dates, and if she is accepting service for the complaint and asked her for the courtesy of a reply.

I'm not holding my breath waiting for an answer.

Sigh.

No, Don't Do That

Stupid decisions by stupid people often lead to completely avoidable tragedies.

WXYZ Detroit: Detroit mother charged for unsafe storage of weapon after six-year-old killed in accidental shooting

Detroit mom decided to go to a restaurant and left her five, yes five, children ages 2 through 11 years old in her car, along with a firearm that was simply shoved under her seat and into the restaurant she went.

Left to themselves, the 11-year-old then retrieved the firearm and shot and killed the 6-year-old.

Do not leave an unsecured firearm, shoved under the front seat, which is not a good idea even if alone, and especially not where kids can get it.

The mom should have had the firearm on her person, or at the very least taken all her kids into the restaurant with her and not left them alone in the vehicle.

But, she likely couldn't take the firearm in to the restaurant with her, as while the reporting is confused, it appears she was a felon in possession at the time, as she's been charged with 4 counts of felony firearm as in addition to the gun left in the car, other firearms were also found at her house.

Tonya Charisse-Annie Johnson, 41, has been charged with:

  • Firearms — Safe Storage Violations — Premises Under Individual's Control — Minor Present and Inflicted Death upon Self or Another
  • Three counts of Second-Degree Child Abuse
  • Four counts of Felony Firearm

In short, be responsible and do not leave your firearms where they are readily accessible to unsupervised children.

No, Signs Really Don't Work That Way

Had a call from a person looking for a lawyer.

He had quite the request:

He wanted me to draft up a sign that could be posted on his property all legal-like alerting all persons including federal law enforcement most specifically ICE, that if they came onto his property without a warrant they would be met with deadly force.

As you may suspect, I politely declined to acquiesce to his request.

In other words, I said "Hell No".

Such a sign has no legal effect at all, and basically will help send the moron to jail if someone is ever shot by him on his property.

Apparently, the latest trend is thinking a sign magically stops ICE from enforcing immigration law, and the idiot thought he could get on the bandwagon with a clever sign.

Some people think that so long as you post a sign with some legalese, or otherwise use some legalese you find on the internet (especially if it uses Latin for some reason) then you can do a dumb and illegal thing with no consequences.

You cannot.

In Michigan you can use deadly force for only three reasons.

Someone trespassing on your property, federal agent or not, is absolutely not one of them.

How About NO?

The Detroit News: Whitmer-created task force recommends ban on assault weapons

A group that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer created with the goal of making policy recommendations to save lives is urging state lawmakers to ban the possession of assault weapons and large capacity magazines.

How about No there sparky?

It's always the same ignorant proposals from Democrats instead of actual measures known to work to curb violence - because that would put many of their supporters in prison where they belong rather than out on the streets committing crimes.

The task force also said devices that convert semiautomatic guns into fully automatic firearms — known as Glock switches — should also be banned.

Glock Switches already are banned under Michigan and Federal law both.

That this Task force does not know this leads me to suspect the knowledge and credibility of same and instead to consider that this is yet another progressive task force that knows little about firearms and instead is just pushing the Democrat's agenda.

People proposing regulations on things should not be ignorant of the things they are attempting to regulate, much less try to outright ban.

So What Kind of "Militants" Wall Street Journal?

Quite the headline at the Wall Street Journal:

So, what kind of militants are they? Dare I say it ain't the Amish?

No, they are indeed not the Amish, but Islamists.

On top of that, people who kidnap 300 children at gunpoint and march them into the jungle are not militants, they are terrorists. Period. Flippin' Dot.

The reluctance of the mainstream media to accurately label Islamic terrorists as Islamic terrorists rather than the milquetoast and unhelpful "We can't say what kind they are, but they are militants" is rather pathetic.

The Answer To This Question Is No

The Detroit Free Press: Michigan wants AI jobs and 100% clean energy. But can it do both?

At the same time Michigan's Democrats have required that power generation be from 100%clean  renewable sources by  2040, they now want to add a demand of gigawatts of power form their latest shiny fetish - Data Centers.

The power demand from data centers are daunting:

DTE also plans to provide power for the Stargate campus, OpenAI announced. In an Oct. 30 earnings call, DTE officials said they secured an agreement to power a 1.4-gigawatt data center. For reference, DTE’s Fermi 2 nuclear plant in Newport produces about 1.2 gigawatts of power, enough energy to power a city of a million people, according to the company. OpenAI said the power used for its Stargate campus will come from existing energy supply, and DTE said the data center will absorb electric costs, not local ratepayers.

Not likely. Especially as the Democrats don't want increase reliable baseline production most especially not with nuclear power.

That one data center will take all of Fermi 2's generation just by itself, forget adding another data center.  They want even more. We're already susceptible to brown outs due to a lack of generation capability here,  and they want to add data centers to add to the load without increasing generation capability.

Unicorns and rainbows aren't going to power the Michigan Democrat's data center dreams. Until Dems get serious about power generation, this demand fir shiny hip data centers need to be stopped as it is unplugged from reality.

So It Is Now Ok To Hit Someone With A Sandwich In DC

NBC News: Jury acquits D.C. 'sandwich guy' charged with chucking a sub at a federal agent

Certainly not a great precedent and a decision based on politics rather than legal principles.

But, given it was a DC jury and the person hit by a sandwich was an ICE agent and because Trump, it is easy to understand how the jury ignored the evidence and found the thrower not guilty of a misdemeanor for the assault, buying into the argument that he had a First Amendment right to assault a federal officer.

Whether it would have been the ICE Agent's First Amendment right to then take said sub sandwich and shove it down Sean Dunn's throat is unresolved.

Hitting someone with an object is an assault.

It gets charged as an assault as we want to, theoretically, let the cooler-head government handle the criminal action rather than require the victim of an assault take matters into their own hands and school the assaulter to seek justice and thus lead to more violence.

By allowing politics to degrade what was clearly an assault into a non-crime, the jury just harmed the very basis of the social contract in the District.

At this point, based on this precedent, you can now probably throw a sandwich at someone with no legal repercussions in DC. The knuckle-sandwich you may get in response, however, will be harder to avoid.

It is also an open question as to what else this ruling allows you to throw at federal agents with zero consequences and whether that immunity from criminal charges will continue when the Democrats are in charge.

Oopsies: House Democrats Fail Badly At Information Security

Democrats often put getting Trump ahead of all else, including competence at rather basic things.

Things like information security  and identities of people with Top Secret clearances working for Democrats open to the web for exposure and manipulation.

Wired: Hundreds of People With ‘Top Secret’ Clearance Exposed by House Democrats’ Website

THE SENSITIVE PERSONAL details of more than 450 people holding “top secret” US government security clearances were left exposed online, new research seen by WIRED shows. The people’s details were included in a database of more than 7,000 individuals who have applied for jobs over the last two years with Democrats in the United States House of Representatives.

What could possibly go wrong?

Democrats and websites really don't go well together.  Obamacare's failed roll-out; FAFSA's failed roll-out; and now their own job recruitment site.

What does Borepatch often say?  "Security wasn't an afterthought; it wasn't thought of at all."

Don't Threaten Us With A Good Time

Joy Reid, continuing the strategy of the Democrats and their supporters in the media being on the 20 side of any 80/20 issue. Here its likely the 2 of a 98/2 issue.

Fox News: Ex-MSNBC host Joy Reid warns GOP wants to return to 'no income tax'

The sheer terrible Republican dystopia she is warning us about

Joy Reid warns Americans of MAGA plans: “No income tax, no regulations, earn as much as you want, and leave it to your children with no taxes, that’s the world they want.”

The horror, the horror.

What Happened To Trust The Science There, Lefties?

Lefties were frothing mad that Trump announced the results of a study that suggested that Tylenol taken during pregnancy could contribute to Autism.

That study was done by that well known right wing crackpot institution - Harvard University

Not just by some schlub at Harvard mind you, but by Andrea Baccarelli, dean of the faculty at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and professor of environmental health.

And before you say it's just one study (because you didn't bother to even read the abstract), the Harvard Study itself references 47 prior studies that suggest there is a neurological problem with taking Tylenol during pregnancy.

Indeed, even the manufacturer of Tylenol itself stated back in 2017 that Tylenol is not recommended to be taken during pregnancy.

In short, there is sufficient data to suggest use of Tylenol during pregnancy is very much contra-indicated.

So, of course, a trainload of pregnant leftist women are going on TikTok and are performatively guzzling Tylenol.   This may provide further grounds for yet another statistically significant study if they keep at it.

Seriously, if Trump announced a cure for cancer had been discovered, Leftists would start protesting and immediately form CCM - Cancer Cells Matter in response.

The Left Needs To Knock This Off, Now

Leftists in just the past year have:

1. Attempted to Assassinate President Trump and that's not counting the almost successful attempt in Butler PA in July of 2024 a year and a few months ago;

2.  Firebombed a Governor's Mansion to "Free Palestine";

3. Shot and killed two Jews outside a museum again to "Free Palestine";

4.  Firebombed a peaceful demonstration and set Jews on fire, killing an 82-year-old, again to "Free Palestine";

5.  Shot up a church, killing two children, and injuring 18 people.

6. And now they have assassinated Charlie Kirk, because they couldn't beat him and his conservative ideas in polite debate, and because to leftists, their violence is speech and a conservative's speech is violence.

This leftist violence and uncivil behavior is already beyond unacceptable, and if it continues, no one is going to like where it goes.

Some Internet Self-Defense Myths Refuse To Die

Saw this gem on Facebook yet again today.

If you don't have a gun, and even if you do, here's a way to wreck someone's evil plans for you. Did you know this? I didn't. I never really thought of it before. I guess I can get rid of the baseball bat.

Wasp Spray -- A friend who is a receptionist in a church in a high risk area was concerned about someone coming into the office on Monday to rob them when they were counting the collection. She asked the local police department about using pepper spray and they recommended to her that she get a can of wasp spray instead.

The wasp spray, they told her, can shoot up to twenty feet away and is a lot more accurate, while with the pepper spray, they have to get too close to you and could overpower you. The wasp spray temporarily blinds an attacker until they get to the hospital for an antidote. She keeps a can on her desk in the office and it doesn't attract attention from people like a can of pepper spray would. She also keeps one nearby at home for home protection. Thought this was interesting and might be of use.

On the heels of a break in and beating that left an elderly woman in Toledo dead, self defense experts have a tip that could save your life.

Val Glinka teaches self-defense to students at Sylvania Southview High School . For decades, he's suggested putting a can of wasp and hornet spray near your door or bed.

Glinka says, "This is better than anything I can teach them."

Glinka considers it inexpensive, easy to find, and more effective than mace or pepper spray. The cans typically shoot 20 feet; so if someone tries to break into your home, Glinka says "spray the culprit in the eyes". It's a tip he's given to students for decades.

It's also one he wants everyone to hear If you're looking for protection, Glinka says look to the spray. "That's going to give you a chance to call the police; maybe get out." Maybe even save a life.

Please share this with all the people who are precious to your life.

Did you also know that wasp spray will kill a snake? And a mouse! It will! Good to know, huh? It will also kill a wasp!!!
And best of all, immobilize a human.

No, no, it really will not.

Wasp spray is not an effective stopper against people, it does not quickly incapacitate people.

It is not in any way as effective as pepper spray.

On top of that, it’s actually illegal to intentionally spray people with it. Whether you would actually get charged for it is an open question, assuming you survive the beat down by the now really annoyed person you just sprayed with it to even get charged.

This is, unfortunately, an internet myth that refuses to die.

Most likely Val Glinka doesn’t exist or if Val actually does, Val. I'm reasonably sure, doesn’t teach high schoolers at a flipping high school to hit people with wasp spray for self-defense.

Now, if Val actually does do that, that's quite the commentary on teacher qualification in the school system these days.

Quite A Scientific And Twisted Concept Of Morality

There is nothing worse than someone advocating  doing something to others, against their will, on the basis that doing so is moral.

You can certainly twist ethics and morality around to make atrocities become moral imperatives to suit your own worldview.

A couple scientists are proposing to do just that in a paper published in the scholarly journal  Bioethics.

With a straight series of keystrokes, if not a straight face, the authors Parker Crutchfield and Blake Heret in their article Beneficial Bloodsucking  propose that infecting Americans with  alpha-gal syndrome (AGS), a condition caused by the bite of the lone star tick whose only effect is the creation of a severe but nonfatal red meat allergy would be not just good to do but should be required - because it is morally right, of course.

This is, per their world view, that as (per them) eating red meat is morally bad therefore a means to stop it, even if it is literally biological warfare, is not just good, but morally obligatory:

The bite of the lone star tick spreads alpha-gal syndrome (AGS), a condition whose only effect is the creation of a severe but nonfatal red meat allergy. Public health departments warn against lone star ticks and AGS, and scientists are working to develop an inoculation to AGS. Herein, we argue that if eating meat is morally impermissible, then efforts to prevent the spread of tickborne AGS are also morally impermissible. After explaining the symptoms of AGS and how they are transmitted via ticks, we argue that tickborne AGS is a moral bioenhancer if and when it motivates people to stop eating meat. We then defend what we call the Convergence Argument: If x-ing prevents the world from becoming a significantly worse place, doesn't violate anyone's rights, and promotes virtuous action or character, then x-ing is strongly pro tanto obligatory; promoting tickborne AGS satisfies each of these conditions. Therefore, promoting tickborne AGS is strongly pro tanto obligatory. It is presently feasible to genetically edit the disease-carrying capacity of ticks. If this practice can be applied to ticks carrying AGS, then promoting the proliferation of tickborne AGS is morally obligatory.

The problem is the underlying assumptions of morality in the Convergence Argument and its “if -- then” statement.

Under that sort of logic, anything is permissible, if not mandatory, so long as the person making the statement deems it to be morally required. Note especially how they hand-wave away infecting people with a biological agent to stop them form eating red meat is not considered to violate anyone's rights.

C.S.  Lewis really knew what he was talking about when he wrote:

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”

― C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock: Essays on Theology (Making of Modern Theology)

Yes, this is a published scientific paper advocating people be "cured" by being infected with an allergy in order to achieve the stated desired end to get people to stop eating red meat – for the best and most moral reasons, of course.

A Not So Peaceful Hood, That

An event entitled "Peace in The Hood" was held in Boynton Beach, Florida.

So of course this event promoting peace was disrupted by a shooting with 4 victims and others injured in the ensuing panic.

25WPBF: Fourth suspect arrested in 'Peace in the Hood' shooting

Hardly unexpected event, that.
