BLM = Belfast Lives Matter

The people of Belfast are making their displeasure at unfettered third-world immigration and two-tier policing known.

The Nightly:  Belfast race riot signals a backlash against Black Lives Matter movement

The horrific sight of an immigrant trying to behead a man on a Belfast street will increase the already heightened hostility in Britain towards foreigners . . .

The Belfast attack came a little after a week when a Sikh man, Vickrum Digwa, was jailed for fatally stabbing 18-year-old accounting student Henry Nowak. Digwa claimed he was racially abused and acted in self defence.

A decision by police officers to initially accept the false story, and handcuff Mr Nowak as he died from stab wounds, triggered an outpouring of anger towards what many people feel are police policies designed to protect minority groups at the expense of fighting crime.

One might say it just a "fiery but peaceful protest".  You'd be a feckin' eedjit for saying so, but  that would be simply copying the progressive line on such demonstrations, except the progressives these days are stating it is actually a riot and blaming it on the "far right".  Don't expect the progressives to be taking a knee for Henry Nowak anytime soon now.

One might also say its a really bad idea to severely annoy people who really know how to put on a riot. And the people of Belfast KNOW how to riot like nobody's business.

When you have Northern Irish Protestants and Catholics on the same side rioting against these policies, it's gonna get, as some might say, extra fiery and extra peaceful, now innit?

More Transit Attack Woes, Now In Chicago

On the Blue Line Train in Chicago, at 9:25 pm a 26-year-old white woman was set on fire by a 45 or 50 year old man. Depending on the reports, there was either an argument before the man doused her with a flammable liquid and set her on fire, or was simply sitting there when the man poured the liquid on her and set it on fire in an unprovoked attack. Update:  It's been confirmed that there was no argument, this was an unprovoked attack.

The man is not being identified by the media, so you can draw your own conclusions.

While not identifying him nor providing identifying information, the media has helpfully reported almost every other detail about him.

He had previously been arrested 53 times, and has a record with 9 felony convictions with only having jail time for two of them. His latest assault before this one took place in August when he knocked out a female social worker causing a major head injury when he was being held in a psychiatric hospital

So much for replacing cops with social workers.

He was released and set free, after that last attack, because of course he was. Set free by a Cook County Judge and sent home on home monitoring which was apparently not being monitored very well at all. Should we mention he has no home of record, either?

CWBChicago.com:  CTA fire attack suspect knocked a psych ward employee unconscious, but a judge decided to let him walk the streets: court docs

Yep, let mentally ill criminals continue to walk the streets no matter how many crimes they commit, let them roam free on public transit, then go on about how violence is down and Chicago and its transit system is very safe after an attack inevitably happens.  Much like the Iryna Zarutska  event a mentally ill criminal arrested multiple times but always given a slap on the wrist, if that, and returned to commit crimes again and again and again until someone gets killed or seriously maimed.

Anarcho-tyranny at its finest.

If It Were The Other Way 'Round

There would be protests, shops likely would be looted, cities might even get set on fire.

In a lovely example of Anarcho-Tyranny, and a two-tier justice system in Washington DC,  two of the Black teen assailants (of the multiple teens that committed the attack) of the white DOGE employee Edward Coristine were just sentenced.

The male teen was found guilty of felony assault, simple assault, robbery and attempted robbery in the incident, and the female was convicted of simple assault.

They both got, yep, you guessed it:

Probation with no jail time

Fox News: Teens who assaulted former DOGE staffer get no jail time with probation-only sentences

Good to know you can commit felony assault, simple assault, robbery and attempted robbery in one attack and get probation and walk out of the courtroom free and clear.  Well, you won't.

Because this judge is all about rehabilitation rather than punishment for the two attackers in question.

Just imagine the outcome if the races in question were reversed.

Stupid Criminals: What We Have Here

Is a massive failure of the victim selection process.

Our stupid criminal decided to rob not just one, but two armed off-duty police officers

ABC7: Man shot while allegedly trying to rob 2 off-duty NYPD officers at Penn Station

Law enforcement officials say a couple, a husband and wife, were boarding an LIRR train between tracks 18 and 19 around 7 p.m., when the suspect tried to rob the husband, an off-duty NYPD officer.

The suspect wound up in a scuffle with the husband, and that's when police say the wife, also an off-duty NYPD officer, pulled out her gun and shot the suspect in the arm and stomach.

Yep, it happily be that way sometimes.

With this being Alvin Bragg's New York, it is no surprise that the robber had not just a laundry list of prior crimes, but had committed an assault last month but was already out on the street when he made his bad victim selection:

Sources told Eyewitness News that the 32-year-old suspect, who lives in a shelter in Brooklyn, has five prior unsealed arrests, mostly for assault and menacing, including one alleged assault that happened just last month.

Funny how that happens. At least this assault had an ending that may just keep him off the streets and unable to commit crimes for at least another month.

Yet Another Reason To Appreciate Being American

You can actually defend yourself if attacked.

Unlike say, Australia, where you can be criminally charged for pepper-spraying someone who is in the act of breaking into your home.

Not The Bee:  Australian man criminally charged for stopping home invader with pepper spray

 Yes, really.

Compare to a similar situation in the US but with a much happier ending for the victim in the home, in Illinois of all places:

Daily Mail: Mom hid her baby in closet then shot and killed burglar who broke into her home in peaceful suburb late at night

The Anglosphere seems to be swiftly shrinking away from what it once was.

The Revolving Door Stabbing Plan

More revolving door criminal justice in Michigan, this time out of Washtenaw County:

MILive: Man sentenced to year in jail, 2 years probation for slashing man’s neck

A man who pleaded guilty to slicing a man’s neck in downtown Ann Arbor will spend roughly 90 days in jail.

Kimani Angelo Hamilton, 30, was sentenced to one year in jail and two years of probation after he pleaded guilty to two counts each of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault less than murder, according to court records.

And this isn't his first jaunt into stabbing and attempted stabbing.

The other charges stem from a second aggravated assault around 1 p.m. May 26 near South Fourth Avenue and East Huron Street, Page said.

He pleaded guilty Jan. 28.

Hamilton has previously been convicted of a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery after he pulled a knife on a 35-year-old man while inside The Blind Pig, 208 South First St. in November in Ann Arbor. [for which he got all of 93 days in jail]

So he'll now be out in 90 days after slashing someone in the neck.  Any bets on how long it will be until his next stabbing will take place?

Better Late Than Never Doesn't Quite Apply

It's good that the Oakland County prosecutor is going after a murderer and seeking enhanced penalties for a the fact that the scumbag has a very long rap sheet of violent felonies and use of firearms in crime.

The Detroit News: Tougher penalty sought for man accused in Oxford Christmas Eve shooting

In December, after driving his car into a ditch, the felon in question went on a killing spree, shooting motorists who had stopped to assist him after his crash.

His list of crimes is rather extensive, the punishments for them not so much.

The kicker is that had the law been fully enforced on this criminal, he would still have been in jail and unable to kill anyone:

While in prison, Webb was also charged in 2019 with possessing weapons as a prisoner. He pleaded guilty in 2020. The conviction could have added another five years to his sentence, but the time was served concurrently with his previous sentence, leading to his July discharge from prison.

In short, he was able to do a crime, while in prison no less for a slew of serious felonies, effectively for no penalty at all, and get out to commit multiple murders when he should have been in prison for that crime.

It's nice that the prosecutor is now declaring this is a case oif double secret probation and treating him as a "super habitual offender" - it's just a pity that he wasn't effectively punished and interdicted before he went off and shot a bunch of people.

The Revolving Door Justice System Revolves

Until someone ends up getting killed.

Then we get "Oh well, the system failed", and it continues, or, if the felon uses a firearm, they call for gun bans, and then it continues.

The Detroit News: Wynter Smith kidnap suspect had run-ins with multiple police agencies in recent years

Note that this example of a career criminal not only stabbed his ex, but also is the #1 suspect in the murder and dumping of the body of her two-year-old daughter.

The man accused of abducting a 2-year-old girl found dead Wednesday on Detroit’s east side after allegedly sexually assaulting her mother has a violent criminal past that includes domestic violence, assault, and resisting and obstructing police in at least five Michigan counties, court records show.

Note the multiple convictions and the multiple times he keeps getting let out, even after serially violating probation and having a track record for assaulting police officers and resisting arrest:

The records show Trice was first sentenced to 224 days in jail for domestic violence and attempted resisting, assaulting or obstructing a police officer in Monroe County stemming from a May 23, 2021 arrest.

A week later, on May 31, 2021, Trice was arrested for obstructing police in Clinton County. He was sentenced to attempted assaulting, resisting and obstructing police and was given a year in jail for that offense, records show.

But in August 2021, he was again charged with assault and obstructing Michigan State Police in Livingston County, according to court records.

After that incident in Handy Township near Fowlerville, Trice pled guilty and admitted in court records that he "fled two police officers in a motor vehicle, assaulted two officers w/ a motor vehicle, resisted/obstructed 2 officers and operated a motor vehicle w/o a license," according to Livingston County court records.

A Livingston County judge sentenced Trice to two years of probation in January 2022 for fleeing police, felonious assault and assaulting, resisting and obstructing police. Trice pled guilty to six counts in that case.

Trice was again arrested less than three months later by Lansing police for fleeing police and misdemeanor assault, court records show. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail in April 2022 for that offense.

Time and again he was released, and he then went off and committed more violent crimes, for which he was again released.

Now, had his probation in January 2022 been revoked after he violated it by committing crimes three months later for just the one incident alone, and put in jail for that time, he would still have been in jail today and would have been unable to stab his ex and kill her 2-year old.

But he was released yet again, and committed more crimes, and now has a murder on top of the rest of his long list of other violent crimes.

How Do You Stop A Violent Firearms-Using Criminal From Violating The Terms Of His Release In Detrorit?

Apparently, you do it by removing the terms of the release bond that he keeps violating, not by incarcerating him for his violations.

Yes, really.  The whole BLM style, woke, no cash bail, no "mass incarceration" crowd has managed to find quite a following in Detroit, where even violent criminals get released to walk the streets on the regular.

The Detroit News: Detroit shooting suspect's releases prompt police cries of judicial leniency

When Teddy Valentino Davis appeared before Wayne County Circuit Judge Michael Hathaway for a May 23 bond violation hearing, the 20-year-old defendant allegedly had breached his bond and tether conditions five times while awaiting trial on a concealed weapons charge.

The judge ensured there wouldn't be another tether violation — by ordering Davis' ankle device removed and releasing the defendant on his own recognizance.

Yep, he keeps violating the terms of his release bond, so instead of putting him in jail for the violation (and thus keeping him off the streets and stopping him from committing more violent crimes), the Judge removed the conditions of the bond and then released him without a bond

Tell me again how we need more gun control laws to stop firearms-related crime when actual criminals with longstanding and active firearms and violence related crimes on their record get released on their own recognizance, free to continue their crime sprees?

Let's note that his most recent violation puts him at the scene of a drive by shooting and he was carrying a gun with casings that matched those left at the shooting scene (yes casings evidence tends to be unreliable but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts the caliber matches and likely his partial prints may be on the casings - so given the GPS match and firearm match held by a felon in possession he was probably involved). Oh, and his GPS tether shows him on location at other shooting scenes.

Again, this is no ordinary citizen, this is a convicted felon, found in possession of a firearm, who has used that firearm in crimes, found with more firearms, been positively located at shooting scenes when shootings were going on, and was seen on social media to brandish firearms and threaten people.

One would think a felon in possession with a history of violence and outstanding threats against identifiable persons would be properly incarcerated.

But no, he's set free to commit more crimes and increase the statistics on "gun violence", because per the ACLU and fellow travellers, the bail system hurts minorities, so it is per their beliefs, better that he be out on the street to go around and shoot minorities such as himself.

Make of that what you will.

But quite simply, I'd pay no heed to anyone calling for more gun control laws who also advocates the no cash bail and revolving door system for actual criminals to be let free and commit more crimes with and without guns.

Given they advocate leaving criminals free to roam and commit violent crimes, even as they commit clear crimes with firearms, while at the same time calling for gun bans shows they are fundamentally unserious about dealing with crime, including gun crime, and instead seek disarmament of law-abiding folks leaving them prey for the criminals they keep releasing.

Gun Banners Show They Are Not About Reducing Crime With Guns

the Progressive Gun Banners keep talking about banning guns, ostensibly to reduce crime committed with guns,  but at the same time refuse to enforce already existing firearms laws against criminals using guns in crime.

Let's take LA's prosecutor George Gascon for example.

While he's all in favor of gun control  - read gun bans and disarmament of the law-abiding, he's been very open and vociferous about not prosecuting criminals who actually use guns in their crimes.

He eliminated enhanced sentences for using firearms in crimes, leading criminals using guns to get paltry sentences that let them out to commit crimes again.

He eliminated the enhancement for being in a gang and committing crimes, thus allowing gang violence to flourish.

He eliminated cash bail, allowing criminals to speed up the already quick-moving revolving door form arrest back to the streets.

This has consequences: Gunman who shot dead two cops at motel near Los Angeles was on PROBATION for carrying a gun and has been banned from owning a weapon since 2011: Woke LA DA George Gascon is slammed for 'soft-on-crime' policies

The deaths of those two police officers on June 14, 2022 is on two heads - the scum who shot and killed them, and the scum George Gascon who made sure the killer was released and free to commit murder when he should have been locked up with enhanced sentences for his multiple felonies - includign his beign a felon in possession of a firearm -  laws already on the books to incarcerate dangerous criminals using firearms in crime applied.

Gun banners are demonstrably not acting in good faith when they seek to disarm the law-abiding, yet go out of their woke way to release criminals actually using firearms in crimes back onto the streets to commit more crimes.

Gun control is demonstrably not about a reduction in crime or crime control.

Instead, it is about disarming the law-abiding and leaving them at the hands of criminals constantly allowed to commit crimes, often using guns that these progressives claim they want banned.

Ingham County: Gun Laws Are Not To Be Enforced Against Criminals.

Because doing so is racist, per the prosecutor.   So what good are they then?

WKAR:  Ingham County Prosecutor Pledges To Dial Back Use Of Mandatory Minimum Gun Charge

The woke prosecutor,  Carol Siemon, is against charging criminals with the possessing a firearm in the commission of a felony charge under Michigan law.

That charge carries a 2-year prison sentence and thus gets felons out of circulation for awhile.  She's opposed to it because it turns out that a lot of felons carrying firearms and committing felonies in her county happen to be Black.

Black people make up 12% of Ingham County’s population, but they accounted for 67% of those charged with felony firearm possession in the county last year, according to a news release from the prosecutor's office.

Given that FBI statistics show Blacks at 13% of the national population commit 50% of the murders in America and 45% of all violent crime in general (with most of the murder victims being Black) the statistics seem to concord quite well with the existence in her county of a very active felon subclass of the Black population.

The prosecutor went to to say that punishment doesn't work so why bother.  Well she actually said that:

"We've learned, of course, that deterrence is not a very strong motivator, unfortunately."

Siemon says the penalty hasn't made the public safer since prosecutors can add the charge even if the gun was legally owned or if the gun wasn't used in the underlying felony for which someone was arrested. Instead, she says, the charge is a major driver of racial disparities in incarceration.

Putting felons in jail for felony firearm possession would result in keeping them off the street and not commititng cirmes, incuding crimes agaisnt racial minorities, but that is insufficiently woke.

Of course, she reserves the right to bring such a charge against the right kind of people:

Although Siemon can't stop police from arresting people for firearm possession, she says her office will be more limited in approving the charge.

Any use of the charge will need to be OK'd by Siemon herself or the county's chief assistant prosecutor, according to a new policy announced Tuesday.

Siemon says she'll limit approval of the charge to "extreme circumstances,"

A little anarcho-tyrrany there, where criminal felons of the right skin color will go uncharged, and one can expect that those non-felons of a different color using a firearm to defend themselves may get hit with this charge.

In other woke news, she also refuses to charge criminals caught with drugs or firearms during traffic stops with any crimes.

This isn't just being soft on crime.  This is giving criminals a complete pass when caught with illegal items as long as it's during a traffic stop, which is the best time to actually stop them, before they're a the scene of their next crime.

Expect crime in Ingham County to start tracking upwards as criminals take note of the new hands-off approach to crime in the name of wokeness.

You Can't Have A Battle For Seattle

If the police aren't allowed to come out to play and only the rioters get to take to the streets.

The Chief of the Seattle PD just informed Seattle property owners that they were on their own this weekend, as the police would not be coming out to protect property:

Why?  Well, the Seattle City Council, in its woke wisdom, has banned the police from using less lethal substances such as OC and tear gas in handling riot and crowd control disturbances in Seattle.  The ordinance is citing both the First Amendment and the fear that tear gas and OC could cause the spread of COVID-19 (No, really - read the ordinance).

Since Seattle PD can't use less-lethal, and they certainly can't use lethal force to protect property, they have no real way to stop these riots and property damage.

The Seattle Police Chief's letter basically just informed property owners that they're on their own, as the PD will not be protecting property as they can no longer use appropriate tools to do so.

I expect the Seattle PD and the local prosecutor will however probably prosecute business owners protecting their property to the fullest extent.

Given there's at least 4 scheduled 'protests' set for this weekend with such charming objectives including ending capitalism and "fascism", it's gonna get sporty when they realize the police are not coming out to curb their enthusiastic 'peaceful' protests.

Good luck law-abiding citizens of Seattle - you're going to need it.

Anarcho-Tyranny And The Real War On Women

Borepatch has written may a time of the concept of anarcho-tyranny, the concept describing that normal citizens get the hammer dropped on them for minor violations, while serious criminals either get off lightly or are ignored.

Serious criminals whether by mistake, deliberate indifference, or racial preferences seem to be gettig overlooked quite a lot recently, especially when it comes to crimes against women.

One fine example is the case of the  terrorist import to Sydney, Australia. At the time of his terrorist attack, he was out on bond after 40+ cases of sexual assault and being implicated in the murder of his ex-wife. Yes, 40 sexual assault cases and murder and he was out a free man until he took over a Lindt chocolate shop in the name of Allah and killed people before the police revoked his bond, permanently.  It has yet to be explained exactly how and why someone can be charged with 40 cases of sexual assault and be released to walk free.

Or the case of Rotherham where police and council decided to cover-up 1,400 cases of child sexual exploitation by Muslims, including not charging those caught with their proverbial pants down,  for fear of being either labelled racist or daring to point out the problem of lack of assimilation of these immigrants and their failure to accept such British values as not raping children.

Now in Detroit we have a warrant backlog leading criminals to go free including both murderers and rapists.

The Detroit News: Detroit warrant backlog frees suspects

Many murderers and rapists were thus set free, and many went and did their crimes yet again, and again.  One example being reported being the case of Jamieson Kelley:
After his release from police custody, Kelley was charged with raping three more women in 2013 and 2014. He pleaded guilty in November to 15 charges of criminal sexual assault, among other charges, and was sentenced to between 22 1/2 and 50 years each for nine of the rape charges.
The failure to issue the warrants is being blamed on budget cuts, as so much of Wayne County's money has gone to corrupt politicians, political supporters in return for votes and feel-good projects rather than being used for essential services like prosecutors and crime-fighting.

Apparently women's safety sadly doesn't rate in the overall scheme of things these days.

Anarcho-Tyranny Mexican-Style

Disarming drug cartels is hard and dangerous work.

So, instead of the hard work involved, the Mexican Army and Police is focusing on disarming citizens who have taken up arms for self-protection from the cartels in frustration as the police and army have failed to enforce the law in Michoacan province.

Note the lovely Freep biased headline: Renegade Mexicans refuse orders to give up. Nope, no bias there guys.

Armed vigilantes who have taken control of territory in lawless Michoacan state to keep out vicious drug cartels are refusing to give up their guns in a standoff with government soldiers.

Residents said a tense calm prevailed on Friday as federal police and soldiers were fanned out over region ranches and lemon groves following a standoff between the vigilantes and police that left four people dead in this region 300 miles west of Mexico City.

. . .

This region has been bedeviled by cartels committing crimes against residents who've been caught between gun wars with no help from law enforcement.

Self-defense groups have marched on at least 15 communities over the past 11 months to run off cartel henchmen and kick out corrupt police officers taking bribes to look the other way. People here say the Mexico government has abandoned them and they had no choice but to arm and fight.

The federal government, however, says it will protect the area and is demanding that the so-called community police forces disarm. Mexico has sent soldiers and the federal police into the region to disarm the groups.....

The Mexican army has in fact fired on unarmed villagers and killed four of them in a stand-off on Monday, read the whole article for all the interesting details.

Interestingly, even with Mexico's very strict gun control laws, the citizens are able to get quite a few items on the country's banned list like 9mm ammunition and as pictured AR-15 rifles, one wonders if some of them are Fast and Furious weapons, or did those solely go to drug cartels?

So the government fails to control criminals and lets them rum amok extorting and killing the citizenry, and then cracks down on the citizenry for the effrontery to dare protect themselves.

Oh, and if you don't know what Anarcho-Tyranny is, go check out Borepatch for a succinct explanation, complete with a plethora of examples.

Hello, Anarcho-Tyranny? Meet Racially-Based Selective Federal Enforcement

You've heard by know of the knockout game.

Known variously as knockout, "knockout king", "point 'em out, knock 'em out", "bomb", or charmingly and descriptively as "Polar Bear Hunting", it typically takes the form of Black no-goodnik yutes sucker-punching a White, Jewish or Asian victim, and trying to knock them out with one punch. Serious injuries and death have resulted from these attacks.

So do we get any federal hate crime charges on any of these Black on White/Jewish/Asian assaults? No.

Instead, the first announced Federal hate crime charge in a knockout game episode, after these assaults have been going on for years, was just announced with much fanfare by Eric Holder. This first ever use of hate crime laws to charge knockout game assailants is made is only now with the very first reported rare instance where a White guy assaults a Black guy:

The Washington Times: Feds charge white man with hate crime in first ‘knockout’ prosecution

The Obama administration filed a federal hate-crimes charge Thursday against a man whom authorities accused of using the “knockout game” to target a black man, videotaping it, and then bragging about the assault to strangers.

The charge marks the first time the administration has taken action on a “knockout” case after the game became an Internet and media phenomenon. It chose a case in which the person accused is white, even though most other cases reported in the news have involved black assailants.

Now, there is no doubt that the assailant being charged in this instance should indeed be charged with assault, and probably also should be charged with a hate crime, is an idiot, and is not deserving of any sympathy or leniency whatsoever.

What is rather curious however, is that after overlooking numerous Black on White/Jewish/Asian attacks, the Department of Justice finally takes an interest in the matter when the racial composition is more politically correct.

A politicized, racially-based and selective enforcement of hate crime and other laws does not bode well for American justice.

Anarcho-Tyranny, NYC Style.

Borepatch is noted for his analysis of the issue of Anarcho-Tyranny. Anarcho-Tyranny is as he smartly puts it, "is when the State stops enforcing important laws and regulations (leading to anarchy) but cracks down on petty offenses (that's the tyranny)."

You've likely seen by now the footage of the Range Rover with a family inside being mobbed by a gang of motorcyclists.

If not, here's the video.

Now that's certainly a picture of Anarchy.

How does it get even more Anarcho-Tyrannical? Well, it turns out some of New York's finest were not only present and did nothing to stop the assaults, but at least one detective even participated in the attack by at the very least damaging the vehicle, if not the beat-down itself: Biker cop joined in SUV beatdown, hit vehicle

The only thing that could make it more Anarcho-Tyrannical would be the media labeling the driver a White-Asian and the Justice Department opening an investigation to see if he could be prosecuted for being racially insensitive while defending himself.

That's New York. The family, by law, isn't allowed the most effective means to protect themselves from a large gang of attackers: A firearm with a standard capacity magazine in the vehicle. 4 calls to 911 brought no help in time to make a difference. With no concealed carry allowed and the outlawing of magazines over 7 rounds, the family was in a bad position to defend itself, leading to the driver getting a beat- down from a gang of thugs (and at least one cop).

Further the Anarcho-Tyranny with the fact that not only do the police have no duty to protect you and will actively prevent you from doing so, but here the police were actually participating in the crime.

That's a pretty frightening display of Anarcho-Tyranny, New York style.
