Hello, Anarcho-Tyranny? Meet Racially-Based Selective Federal Enforcement

You've heard by know of the knockout game.

Known variously as knockout, "knockout king", "point 'em out, knock 'em out", "bomb", or charmingly and descriptively as "Polar Bear Hunting", it typically takes the form of Black no-goodnik yutes sucker-punching a White, Jewish or Asian victim, and trying to knock them out with one punch. Serious injuries and death have resulted from these attacks.

So do we get any federal hate crime charges on any of these Black on White/Jewish/Asian assaults? No.

Instead, the first announced Federal hate crime charge in a knockout game episode, after these assaults have been going on for years, was just announced with much fanfare by Eric Holder. This first ever use of hate crime laws to charge knockout game assailants is made is only now with the very first reported rare instance where a White guy assaults a Black guy:

The Obama administration filed a federal hate-crimes charge Thursday against a man whom authorities accused of using the “knockout game” to target a black man, videotaping it, and then bragging about the assault to strangers.

The charge marks the first time the administration has taken action on a “knockout” case after the game became an Internet and media phenomenon. It chose a case in which the person accused is white, even though most other cases reported in the news have involved black assailants.

Now, there is no doubt that the assailant being charged in this instance should indeed be charged with assault, and probably also should be charged with a hate crime, is an idiot, and is not deserving of any sympathy or leniency whatsoever.

What is rather curious however, is that after overlooking numerous Black on White/Jewish/Asian attacks, the Department of Justice finally takes an interest in the matter when the racial composition is more politically correct.

A politicized, racially-based and selective enforcement of hate crime and other laws does not bode well for American justice.

Violence against youths must stop, Holder says

This from the guy in charge of the department and at the very least aware of the program funneling guns to Mexican drug gangs.

The Detroit News:

Calling the homicide rate among young black men unacceptable, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on Sunday said his department is committing "unprecedented" resources to address violence to which young people are exposed.

Addressing more than 6,000 at the Detroit Branch NAACP's Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner at Cobo Center, Holder, the nation's first African-American attorney general, said an average of two young black men a week are killed in Detroit, according to one report. And 60 percent of young people are exposed to violence as victims or witnesses.

"This is shocking and all of this is unacceptable," Holder said.

Holder said that's why his office is directing resources to reduce childhood exposure to violence, raise awareness of its ramifications and study its causes.

Maybe his upcoming defense for Fast and Furious will be that it was an attempt to outsource the violence from Detroit to parts south...

Holder: US is nation of cowards on racial matters

WASHINGTON (AP) - Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing unresolved racial issues.

In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.

"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," said Holder, nation's first black attorney general.

Oh come on seriously? -- a nation of cowards regarding race -- as if. Did Holder miss some reality while he was busy pardoning Mark Rich or something? Anyone checked the news on a recent presidential election, not to mention an Illinois Senator appointment and a recent Attorney general appointment? Not to mention the advance of civil rights in this country? Damn cowards all, must be.

Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, Holder said, but "we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race."

He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for frank talk about racial matters.

Around the fire with a guitarist strumming Kumbaya in the background no doubt. Newsflash, unlike the political class, race is not the all-consuming burning issue of the day. Most of us get on just fine with friends who happen to be of other races, thank you very much, and we typically don't start every conersation with them about race relations in America - we generally start with "Hey howzit going?", move on to how our favorite sport team did or didn't do last night, maybe chat about the hole this economy keeps slipping into, and then move on to productive and enjoyable conversation.

"It is an issue we have never been at ease with and, given our nation's history, this is in some ways understandable," Holder said. "If we are to make progress in this area, we must feel comfortable enough with one another and tolerant enough of each other to have frank conversations about the racial matters that continue to divide us."

Yet another Newsflash, most people don't talk about race because Democrats like Holder have been so busy making the conversation so fraught with taboo and risk of being called a racist if you don't buy the party line, that honest conversation can be hard to come by.

He told Justice Department employees they have a special responsibility to advance racial understanding.

One would think they have a special responsibility in not so much racial understanding but how about (gasp) enforcement of the law (maybe start with going after some notables who have failed to pay their taxes as of late), after all its the Department of Justice, not the Department of Racial Grievances and Hand-Holding.

Not yet at least.
