More Arbitrary Puritanism From Gov Half-Whit

Gov. Half-Whit's control continues apace, preventing even safe yet-non-essential activities from operating out of, as Mencken hath stated: “The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.”

She'd much rather these small businesses go out of business.

The Detroit News: Canterbury Village drive-in movies ruled out by governor

Yes, a drive-in where people remain in their cars, with the cars parked in 20 foot spaces is not allowed to proceed and ordered not to have a drive-in movie.

More arbitrary and capricious behavior form the Gov and her administration.

Can't have non-essential economic activity going on, something that would provide some relief and entertainment to parents and their kids, not at all. It might keep a business alive and people off unemployment.
