The Motive May Never Be Known

The killer wore a sweatshirt that said "Property of Allah".

He also had an Islamic Republic of Iran flag t-shirt on under the sweatshirt.

CBS News: Texas gunman wore "Property of Allah" hoodie, Iran flag T-shirt during attack

This clearly means his motive may never be known. It is a Complete mystery.

Indeed, per the FBI,  the Bureau is searching hard for a possible motive and possible link to terrorism for this Islamic immigrant.

The Detroit News:  FBI probes Texas mass shooting for terrorism link

I daresay Director Kash Patel needs to remove Agent Magoo and his fellow Biden-era agents that can't identify Islamic terrorism  --when it is literally on the killer's shirt -- from the investigation.

After All, If The Sharia Fits....

Of course, now that the attempted terrorist attack was stopped by the FBI, Islamic Civil Rights gorups in Dearborn are concerned

Because it makes Arabs and Muslims look bad, of course.

IJR: ‘Civil Rights’ Leaders Complain Media Coverage Of Terrorism Makes Arab Town Look Bad

Norm Macdonald sure had it right.

No condemnation of the planned attack by these Arab Civil rights groups.

No condemnation by these groups of the clear link to an Islamic radical imam that lives in Dearborn that apparently gave a coded green light for it either.

Nope, just that talking about it makes Dearborn and the Islamic Arabs in it look bad.

Oh, and the attack's target for these Islamics?  Gay/LGBT Clubs in Ferndale.

It seems the Democrat's Green-Rainbow alliance is showing a little strain. Queers for Palestine may want to take note of the targeting choice, if only for self preservation purposes.

FBI Interdicts Terrorist Cell In Dearborn

Its rather productive when the FBI focuses on actual threats rather than say parents at PTA meetings

The Detroit News; FBI arrests Michiganians accused of plotting terrorist attack over Halloween weekend

Don't you love how the headline identifies the suspects in Dearbornistan as  Michiganians?

The Detroit Free Press: Terrorist plot thwarted in Michigan, FBI Director Kash Patel says: What we know

Very little has been released identifying the suspects or the nature of the plot so far, or it has been released, and the mainstream media here has decided revealing such would be too politically incorrect.

Apparently the terrorist attack was to take place this weekend, so good job to the FBI for interdicting that.

From Not A Terrorist Attack To "He Was Totes On His Own" In No Time Flat

So the FBI is now assuring us that not only was the New Orleans Islamic terrorist indeed committing an act of terrorism, but he completely acted on his own.

The Detroit News: FBI says driver in New Orleans rampage acted alone, was '100%' inspired by Islamic State group

Awfully quick and convenient to come to that conclusion, especially as the mosque he attended is telling its members not to talk to the FBI or other investigators.   Especially as up until the narrative needed to be changed they stated he had worked with others.

The mosque officials their post called it a terrible event (much along the lines of some people did something) and put in quotes  that the FBI is now calling it an "act of terror".

The mosque and imams there are rather interesting, but likely not atypical.

Perhaps the FBI should investigate a bit more before jumping to conclusions, especially as their initial conclusion that it was not a terrorist event was, shall we say, rather missed the plot and was contrary to all evidence.

The Swamp Takes Care Of Its Own

The New York Times: F.B.I. Official Fired Under Trump Wins Back His Pension

Behind a paywall, but the highlight is the firing of FBI director Andrew McCabe was reversed by the Justice Department and now he gets his sweet, sweet pension and bennies.

This is the same McCabe who already got the benefit of not being charged after lying to Congress three times and to other Federal officials.

Arkansas Democrat Gazette: Charges ruled out in McCabe lie case

Good to be part of the in-group, isn't it?

You try lying to Congress and federal investigators and see if you get the same deal.  I reckon not so much, and you can ask Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby among many others to confirm how this works for the non-favored-insider.

Aside From Instigating And Assisting Plots They Later Break Up - What Is The FBI Good For, Exactly?

The FBI has certainly declined from the reputation it used to have, and sadly it is for good reason.

Let's see,  for example they are not good at stopping serious inter-state crimes - their Indianapolis office ignored the reported depredations of  Dr. Nasser, a serial child rapist for years, allowing him to continue his crimes.

The Detroit Free Press: 'FBI failed survivors': Massive systematic failures uncovered in DOJ's Larry Nassar report

To be fair, they were not the only ones to either aid, abet, ignore, or sweep his crimes under the rug, but that they did is rather telling.  That likely no one at the FBI will be sanctioned for this appalling failure is also telling.

Stopping terrorism or mass killing?  Not so much. The number of killers "known to the FBI"  but not interdicted before they commit their crimes is rather lengthy.   Think Parkland, the Pulse Nightclub, the recent Boulder supermarket killer and the list goes on and on and on.

They are however rather good at plotting against sitting presidents and using knowingly false information to do so.

They are also rather good at inducing idiots to participate in harebrained plots, where it seems the FBI agents and informants outnumber the non-FBI participants by a considerable margin and potentially the FBI were the ones doing the plotting.  Note this is still likely not entrapment, but it is interesting that they put in the resources to potentially manufacture such a scheme, potentially for political gains to get heat off Whitmer while she was being criticized for her heavy-handedness and ineptness at the time.  While another example of the FBI making the plot up to later arrest the plotters it draws in, it is however not actual entrapment if you're a willing participant and stupid enough to participate in such a plot.

Apparently, they're also great at manufacturing cases against undocumented tourists at our nation's capitol.  Against Antifa, well, not so much.

It's not surprising that the FBI has now been accused of becoming the law enforcement arm of the Democrat party, they certainly seem to be living up to that moniker and failing at their other duties.

It's Not Entrapment If You Jump Right In

Anyone ever caught in a sting claims entrapment, and Sebastian Gregerson, aka Abdurrahman Bin Mikaayl is no exception.

The Detroit News: Attorney: FBI entrapped terror suspect

“There would have been no offense but for the government’s involvement and participation in the grenade transaction,” Tholen wrote. “The explosive grenades were effectively dumped on his lap seconds before his arrest. As such the counts in the indictment should be dismissed as a matter of law.....Gregerson told the undercover FBI employee he wanted to buy smoke grenades, fragmentation grenades and an anti-personnel mine that contains C4 explosive and hundreds of steel balls that rapidly shoot outwards upon detonation, court records show.”

Remember kiddies, when someone asks you "Hey, want to commit numerous federal felonies?" The answer, assuming you don't actually want to do so, should be No.

When you jump on board to an illegal proposal and agree to participate, that's not entrapment.

In fact from reading the article, he apparently also received funding for the purchase from an Imam in Maryland for the purchase and was putitgn together a rather neat plot at the time he was caught.

Hillary's Song Today: Damn, It Feels Good To Be A Clinton

Anyone else would have been indicted.

But thankfully for Hillary, thanks to a 'chance' meeting on the tarmac between Lynch and Bill Clinton, as well as the fact that the Justice Department is run by Democrats and wasn't about to indict their candidate for office for crimes that anyone else would have been and indeed have been prosecuted for, she's going to be the next President of the United States.

When the director of the FBI comes out and indicates that laws were indeed broken but he feels a prosecutor will not indict you know the fix is in. Funny as to what prosecutor could possibly have told him that, right? Oh, you can put your hand down now Ms. Lynch.

So the Direcotr of The FBI has now stated he won't recommend charges. It is a sad day for the rule of law in this country and a smack in the face to law abiding Americans. Politics blatantly trumped the rule of law today, make no mistake.

People I know with security clearances are furious with this decision, and rightly so. This decision, and the final comment that such leniency and getting a kitchen pass certainly would not apply to them is a terrible insult. (Note: I do not have nor claim to have a security clearance, nor do I play one on TV).

The just application of laws in this country now seem to only apply to the little people, namely those whose last names aren't Clinton and those who are not affiliated and highly connected with the Democrat party.

Just An Indiana Man, Never Meaning No Harm

Or Not.

Fox59: Indiana man, 18, arrested on terrorism charges, accused of attempting to join ISIS

Officials said Akram Musleh, 18, attempted to board a bus from Indianapolis to New York, where they say he planned to fly to Morocco on his way to territory controlled by ISIS. Court documents say he then planned to join the group.

Not to worry, he first came to the attention of the FBI in 2013 when he was charmingly posting ISIS videos to YouTube:

The FBI discovered after finding the videos that Musleh was a student at Brownsburg High School. The FBI met with school officials and Musleh at the school on December 11, 2013. He told them that a close family member introduced him to such videos, which he would watch at home, according to court documents. He said he used the videos to "further his understanding of the history of Islam."

Court documents show the school and the FBI took steps to dissuade Musleh from engaging in radical extremism.

Apparently the talkin' to along the lines of "ISIS is bad, m'kay?" worked really, really well.

After the meeting and conversation he went off and purchased an ISIS flag and then photographed himself with it in 2015.

Then he started perusing the list of potential terrorist targets in Indiana and followed it up with looking for methods to peacefully understand Islam manufacture bombs, and he starts chatting with ISIS online, including receiving a rather interestingly, in light of recent events, suggestion that he perform a terrorist attack in Florida.

So yeah, the whole interview and dissuade approach apparently didn't take, much to everyone's surprise. Darn Hoosiers.

Yet Another Hoffa Hunt Ends Unsatisfied

It seems the main purpose of Jimmy Hoffa these days is to let the FBI run around Michigan and practice digging holes with heavy machinery.

The Detroit News: FBI calls off Hoffa dig, says no evidence found

Oakland Township — After stretching into a third day, the search for the body of missing Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa ended Wednesday morning in a rural field in northern Oakland County.

FBI investigators said no evidence of the body was found after combing a one-acre site near the intersection of Buell and Adams roads with 40 agents and they were going to break down their search site.

Following a tip from an aging mobster that Hoffa was buried in a shallow grave in a field here, agents had been armed with a search warrant, shovels and an earth mover since Monday. It was the latest unfruitful dig by the FBI since Hoffa disappeared from outside a Bloomfield Township restaurant in 1975.

Methinks the mob is having fun by sending the FBI on wild goose chases at taxpayer expense. Taking 40 agents of their regular jobs, presumably fighting crime -- including organized crime, to go running around digging holes is quite the coup.

An American Arab Jihadi In Chicago

The Detroit Free Press: FBI arrests teen trying to blow up Chicago bar

A man in the Chicago suburbs was using an account to distribute chatter about violent jihad and the killing of Americans.

Two undercover agents reached out and began to talk to him online. In May, they introduced him to another agent who claimed to be a terrorist living in New York.

The operation ended Friday night, an affidavit describing it says, when the man was arrested and accused of trying to detonate what he believed was a car bomb outside of a Chicago bar. Prosecutors said an undercover agent gave Adel Daoud, a U.S. citizen from the Chicago suburb of Hillside, a phony car bomb and watched him press the trigger.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Chicago, which announced the arrest Saturday, said the device was harmless and the public was never at risk. Daoud, 18, is due to make an appearance in federal court Monday morning on charges of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and attempting to damage and destroy a building with an explosive.

.......

After he settled on a downtown bar, he conducted surveillance on it by using Google Street View and visiting the area in person to take photographs, the affidavit said. The document does not identify the bar, but says he told the agent it was also a concert venue by a liquor store.

"It's a bar, it's a liquor store, it's a concert. All in one bundle," the document quotes him as saying. It said he noted the bar would be filled with the "evilest people ... kuffars." Kuffar is the Arabic term for non-believer.

Remember kids, it is not entrapment when you jump right in and try to trigger what you believe to be a car bomb so you can go off and kill kuffars in the name of Allah.

Sure enough, he apparently received outside help and inspiration:

The affidavit said Daoud was active in jihadist Internet forums and was accessing articles written by Anwar al-Awlaki, the U.S.-born radical cleric who became a key figure in the Yemen-based al-Qaeda offshoot known as al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

At least Daoud can't blame this attempt on a movie snippet - he had been planning this attack for months.

Good job on the part of the FBI catching this guy.

Like Shooting Fish in a Barrel - FBI to unveil Wayne County Puiblic Corruption Task Force

The Detroit News: FBI: Public corruption task force launching in Metro Detroit

The FBI said Thursday it is joining forces with other federal, state and local investigators to uncover public corruption in the target-rich Metro Detroit area.

The creation of a public corruption task force is a response to several scandals in Detroit City Hall and schools, Wayne County government, Pontiac, Highland Park, Royal Oak Township and Ecorse in recent years.
Something tells me they're going to be busy.

Especially with news like this, and this, and this, and this and this, and this and this and this and this.

I'd say they've got their work cut out for them and a truly Herculean task ahead to clean out these Wayne County and Detroit stables.

Illegal Alien Arrested After Planning To Bomb Capitol

Washington Post: Federal agents arrest Amine El Khalifi; he allegedly planned to bomb Capitol

Federal authorities on Friday arrested a 29-year-old Moroccan man in an alleged plot to carry out a suicide bombing at the U.S. Capitol, the latest in a series of terrorism-related arrests resulting from undercover sting operations.

For more than a year, Amine El Khalifi, of Alexandria, considered attacking targets including a synagogue, an Alexandria building with military offices and a Washington restaurant frequented by military officials, authorities said. When arrested a few blocks from the Capitol around lunchtime on Friday, he was carrying what he believed to be a loaded automatic weapon and a suicide vest ready for detonation.
Khalifi has been illegally living in the US since he was 16.

Certainly, that's a rather damning indictment of the laxity towards both illegal immigrants and Islamic militants in the DC area. And it also raises some more questions about a mosque that seems to keep drawing more than its share of terrorism suspects:
As news of the arrest spread, several members of the mosque Khalifi visited expressed concern that they could be thrust into the spotlight once again, even though Khalifi was not thought to have been a regular worshiper at the mosque.

Dar Al-Hijrah has weathered repeated criticism for ties to worshipers who were found to have been terrorism suspects. The mosque’s leaders have noted that, as one of the largest mosques in the Mid-Atlantic, it attracts worshipers from all over, including many who attend infrequently.

Of course, the usual suspects are also worried about these FBI Sting operations stopping poor innocent jihadis:
Ashraf Nubani, a Muslim lawyer in Washington who has defended terrorism suspects in similar cases in the past, said he has has watched with alarm the increase of such FBI stings.
Perhaps his alarm is because they are quite successful in stopping the attacks.
“It’s controlled from beginning to end by FBI. But you can’t create a terrorism case and then say you stopped it,” Nubani said. “Had the FBI not been involved, through their manipulation or informants, would the same thing have happened? Would there be attempted violence? They have their sights on certain people, the ones who talk big talk.”

So Nubani seems to be advocating the FBI should start ignoring [certain] people talking about committing acts of terrorism. Remember folks, its not entrapment if you jump right in, nor when you seek out terrorist materials on your mission of inner self-improvement.

Good job to the FBI for interdicting this attack, and may it wake up our solons in DC regarding the problems of both illegal immigration and its connection to terrorism, and to the continued presence of militant Islamists in our midst.

The Obama Administration exemplifies the Dilbert Principle

With the news that Jamie Gorelick might be appointed to head the FBI, it seems more and more that The Obama Administration is an example of the Dilbert Principle writ large and run amok.

Really, with all of the potentialy really qualified people out there with stellar records to head the FBI, Obama had to choose the one with that much baggage?

The Dilbert Principle to put it succinctly is that the more incompetent you are, the higher you go in management.

The Obama administration seems to have become the living embodiment of the principle from the top on down.

It's Dilbert's world now and we're all just living in it.

Imam was shot 20 times after shooting at Police, Local Muslims continue to be Upset

Michigan Imam Shot 20 Times in FBI Raid, Autopsy Shows
It should be noted that this peaceful Imam opened fire on the FBI as they came in with a warrant, killing a police dog. Typically when you start shooting at FBI agents you're inviting return fire and you're not going to win.

Indeed with 4 agents, 5 shots each, all hits, I'd call that good shooting indeed.

The chairman of the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, U.S. Rep. John Conyers and the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations want a separate investigation. Outside the Dearborn Police Department, a small group of protesters stood near a sign that said, "Stop FBI Terror!"
Hey, try to shoot FBI agents and you're playing by big boy's rules - expect to get hurt.

Then the family of the deceased lawyer gets into the act:
A lawyer for Abdullah's family, Nabih Ayad, questioned the FBI's tactics.

"A lot of raids are conducted when a suspect has a gun. That doesn't mean you shoot them 20 times," Ayad said in an interview.
Wrong, yes it does mean exactly that. The FBI like most law enforcement, and indeed private civilians are trained to shoot to stop the threat - as long as the attacker is still pointing a gun, had indeed fired the gun, and was clearly a threat, you keep shooting until the threat ends, whether by the attacker ceasing the attack, dropping the weapon or dropping himself. Given the entire episode took 4 seconds, I'd say they acted quite appropriately.

On the upside for Luqman Ameen Abdullah, I hear the Detroit Red Wings are looking to talk to him. After all, they figure that anyone who can stop 20 shots with their body in 4 seconds has got to be a good contender to be a goalie for the Red Wings.

Why would the FBI tip off Islamic leaders in advance of their raid on Islamic Extremists?

The news of the FBI raid on the radical bunch of Islamic extremists planning a violent conspiracy has been pretty well reported. The FBI did a darn good job, all the FBI agents are thankfuly safe (except unfortunatelt for an FBI dog which was killed) and most of the suspects are in custody. So it's a win for the good guys.

There are some questions about the raid though.

If these particular "radical" Islamists, have nothing to do with mainstram Islam, why then is the head of the puported-to-be-mainstream American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee being briefed on it in advance and then why is he concerned about the FBI use of informants in mosques?

Imad Hamad, regional director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, said Arena briefed him on the raids late Wednesday afternoon. The case has renewed concerns about use of FBI informants inside mosques, Hamad said.

"So far in this particular case, we don't have any of the facts but what the government said," Hamad said. "It is premature to render any judgment."

Also, if this sect is not "mainstream", why was the Muslim Alliance in North America having the chief suspect Luqman Ameen Abdullah, who was kiled in the raid
"on an advisory board for the Muslim Alliance, and he often met with local imams, said local Muslims.

Indeed, Why is the FBI tipping off Islamic leaders prior to a raid?

Doesn't this increase the chance that a sympathetic co-religionist would tip off the subject of the raid thus resulting in them going into hiding or otherwise destroying evidence, not to mention giving them an opportunity to ambush FBI agents, completely and unecessarily putting these agents' lives in danger?

Also isn't it funny how mainstream Muslims are concerned that there may be informants among them that might report criminal activities to the FBI?
Hamad said he and other Arab-American leaders have had ongoing talks with the FBI about its use of informants, and authorities insist that they use such sources only when they have specific allegations rather than during a “witch hunt.”

Still, the tensions will be aggravated by this week’s events. And those who already are skeptical of the FBI’s tactics will doubt the allegations contained in the indictment.

“The case – regardless of the facts, regardless of the allegations, regardless of what went right and what went wrong – brings back that issue of informants,” Hamad said.
How about this - don't commit criminal conspiracies against America and you won't have to worry about informants reporting on your nefarious plans to the FBI?

One would think mainstram muslims would encourage the reporting of criminal acts to the lawful authorities of this country, but apparently not.
