Goodbye To Great Aunt Bayla Panzer Z"L, RIP

The wife of Leon Panzer, my Great Aunt Bayla Panzer died peacefully at her home this week at the age of 98.

Beloved and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, and a keeper of family history and stories.

She was kind, intelligent, wise and sharp as a tack until the end, and she will be sorely missed at family gatherings and remembered.

Aaron, I'm sorry to hear this. It made me think of my Great Aunt Charlotte, gone these 25 years. She sounds like she was much like your Great Aunt.

No matter how much info from the prior generations you have internalized and/or documented, there always will be those moments when you just wish you could ask those people a few more questions about a few things.

Rest in peace, Aunt Bayla!
