More importantly, getting rid of the grading system make it harder for parents to see how their schools are doing.

Note that this bill will not improve education in any way, it simply removes an easily understandable reporting system for people to understand how their public schools and the teachers are performing.
Apparently, it's bad to give schools an F as it is a "punitive label" and their feelings might be hurt.
Let's not make it easy identify continuously failing and under-performing schools but instead hide their failure and keep on keeping on. After all, teachers are, and the teacher's union is, a core Democrat constituency and covering for Democrat failure is the Democrat way.
