It Wouldn’t Be Michigan Without

Snow in April.

Yesterday was beautiful, sunny and nice with temperatures up in the 80s.

So, of course,  today it snowed. Yes, really.

Happily it’s not sticking around and piling up but it’s still making it a messy drive and an ugly grey day.

It's been snowing on and off all day, no accumulation until now, with a pittance sticking around for a bit, but not much.

pretty much the same here. Woke up to snow coating the deck and some of the grass, but then it melted quickly.
Windy as hell due to the rapid temp change though.

4 seasons in a week. That is Michigan in a jar for you. Kind of what you come to expect if you are a resident here. Some other states say the same thing, but I don't think they can hold a candle to us. We have this every year, while other states get this and shout it to the winds, like it is the news of the century.

B: Woke up to snow on the roof and deck but melted elsewhere this morning (Tuesday). Total overcast and grey yuck.

pigpen51: Yes indeed, I think we did a full season rotation in less than 4 days this time. Snow in April is expected but certainly unwelcome.

Old NFO: Now its been updated to the unfalsifiable fashionable theory of climate change. Snowing? - climate change. Not snowing? - climate change. Hot out? - climate change. Cold out? - climate change.

ccm2361: Yep, it was quite the fake-out. The sunny warm weather was nice while it lasted.
