Oh, and the killer used a knife rather than a firearm, so again, expect it to receive less coverage, and don't expect many calls for "common-sense knife control".

Schools tend to be the target of choice for whackos and killers looking to make themselves infamous because the  location tends to be insufficiently secure and defended, and it has a pool of victims who generally, being children, are not as able to react, fight back, and defend themselves.

The article closes with this helpful note:

China prohibits most gun ownership. Personal attacks usually are carried out with knives or homemade explosives.

And yet, even with pretty much perfect gun control, in a totalitarian state no less, massacres of innocent children by evil scum still happens.  Note the emphasis on personal attacks, in China, it's the government there that uses guns to kill it's dissenters.

Two mass murders, occurring days apart, but being treated rather differently by the media and politicians.

First, as keenly noted by ProudHillbilly, Al-Issa was known to the FBI. He thus joins the long list of many other "known wolves" that the FBI knew about but did little to interdict.

Second, and I'd like more confirmation of this, but it appears that the killer, now identified as Syrian refugee Al-Issa allegedly swore allegiance to ISIS before the attack.

He also drove 30 miles out of his way past lots of other supermarkets to attack this particular store which happens to advertise a large array of Passover items for sale.

King Soopers website indeed advertises the grocery chain as “Your One-Stop Shop For Kosher Groceries.” The chain also has stores included on a Vaad Hakashrus of Denver list of stores that carry kosher items.

Citing a source in Boulder law enforcement, Loomer also told the National File that the shooter had sworn allegiance to ISIS before the attack.

Again, I'd certainly like further confirmation from other sources, but if this is confirmed, will the media start reporting this as a terrorist attack directed against Jews by a mentally-deranged ISIS enthusiast? 

Or are they just going to bemoan "gun violence" and ignore any motives when it doesn't fit their narrative?  Interesting how the media and Democrats fail to speculate on this shooting whereas they went all out to immediately establish an untrue and speculative narrative regarding the Atlanta killings.

 Next issue:  Why are we not seeing pledges and campaigns and bromides to end violence against Whites after this shooting?  

After all, 100% of the 10 victims of the murderer were white, which is 25% more than the amount of Asian victims killed in Atlanta by the mentally deranged sex addict (6 out of 8 victims were Asian, two were White one of whom, incidentally enough hailed from Detroit) .

The media sought and did create a narrative then of white-based anti-Asian sentiment that the MSM and Democrats ran with even when the facts were out that the murderer in that case stated he did it for mentally deranged sex-related reasons and he was trying to kill sex workers and apparently clients of same rather than any particular racial group.    

Now, with 100% White victims no such narrative of anti-White violence is being pushed and the murderer's Islamic and Syrian background and potential motives are not being discussed or speculated upon by the MSM.  Quite a contrast in treatment.

It's quite possible at this stage of course that Al-Issa was simply a nutcase, but its also possible at this point that this was a racially- and religiously-charged attack especially given that he was on the FBI's very passive radar. 

One would think that should get as much speculation to motive by the MSM and politicians as the prior attack did.  But of course it does not - it doesn't fit the narrative being set.

German Job Security Through Offing Your Competition

It doesn't take a firearm to perform a mass murder, especially if you're willing to stretch out the time frame a little.

It seems one factory worker in Germany found the key to job security was killing off his fellow workers. Not exactly a how to win friends and influence people method nor a recommended one.

Since 2000, he's suspected of poisoning 21 of his fellow employees by contaminating their food with lead acetate, and was only caught when victim #22 saw powder in his sandwich and security cameras caught the fellow sprinkling it on his food.

Apparently no one made any connection among these deaths as lead acetate poisoning is hard to detect, but you would think that many deaths from one factory would cause someone to wonder if there was any connection.

Gun Banners Coming To Realization That Emotional Fact-Free Rants Don't Work

So they're desperately trying to find a Plan B after finding out that Plan A, dancing in the blood of the dead is failing.

Yes, no longer can a blind appeal to emotion sway most Americans from realizing that gun owners are not responsible for the acts of the few insane individuals that committed spree killings.

The Gn Controllers using the Santa Barbara incident are realizing they're haivng an uphillclimb, one fathers public rant notwithstanding because:

1. Yet again, its a narcissistic individual with a very long history of mental problems that commited the crime.

2. Yet again the authorities failed to intervene after clear warnings that he was a danger to himself and others.

3. In addition to using a firearm, the killer also killed just as many people with a knife and also used a BMW as an attempted murder weapon - blaming the gun alone when it was only used for 50% of all deaths incurred is hard to do.

4. it took place in California, an A rated state with the Gun Controllers for its ridiculously restrictive gun laws. Even with all those laws, the system still failed to prevent it, thus showing these laws to be pretty darn useless in deterring such spree killings,

So the transition to plan B is hard, instead of pure emotions, they're going to shift to emotions and lies at a local level.

Since last Friday, when Elliot Rodger murdered University of California-Santa Barbara student Christopher Michaels-Martinez and five others in Isla Vista, Michaels-Martinez’s father has publicly processed his grief and rage on viral videos by calling for gun control and blaming “craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA.”

But even as the videos racked up views on YouTube, political journalists across the country spent the week writing soberly about how Martinez’s grief won’t affect the gun debate.

Thay is why gun-control advocates are already experimenting with new tactics after grieving fathers like Daniel Barden (Sandy Hook), John Green (Tucson) and Tom Teves (Aurora) failed to spur action at the federal level.

Again, blaming the NRA for this is ridiculous and is a nonsensical appeal to emotion that doesn't fit the facts. All the progressive journos covering it were wondering why it didn't work, 'cause as usual it worked on them and fit their world view even as it didn't fit the facts.

So now they're trying to have people ensure their 401Ks don't have gun companies as part of their investments.

Good luck with that bit of BDS insanity. The firearms sector, thanks to Obama and the gun banners has been doing very good business-wise with excellent profitability. If they are dumb enough to "unload" that will create an excellent buying opportunity for the rest of us.

But as usual, don't expect common sense form gun grabbers. They're still in the early stages of realizing they're losing.

The civil rights model has four steps: a group must self identify; establish leaders; create a public face, including marches, acts of civil disobedience or message-filled art; and it must promote its goals by electing members to political offices and creating institutions, such as magazines, newspapers and academic programs.

Here's the difference folks, the gay rights and civil rights campaigns succeeded as they were correctly advertised as steps to gain people rights. The gun controller's aim is to take away the majority of American's civil rights. That is why they will fail.

Indeed, it is the NRA, its members, and gun rights proponents in general that have been following the civil rights model as depicted, not the gun banners with their AstroTurf organizations, big money donors and lies and emotional appeals to authority.
