A Good Communist

While she sadly never faced the justice she deserved, JoAnne Chesimard, more commonly known among the red diaper baby and fellow traveller set as  Assata Shakur, a cop-killer, has now become a good communist.

She apparently died of "health problems and advanced age" in Cuba, where she was given asylum.  She died at the age of 78.

It would be a fitting irony and appropriate end indeed if the "quality" of Cuba's socialist healthcare system contributed to her demise.

From Cuba, Chilean actress Carolina Cox called on her government to get her off the island where she has been stranded after flights out were canceled due to the spreading of COVID-19 all over the island.

“This is a center for infections, foreigners are constantly coming and going, there’s a plague of rats, this is a closed-down hotel,” complained the actress in a video posted on social media.

“It’s super distressing being in a country where there’s shortages of soap, toilet paper, our accounts are blocked because of the blocks on Cuba, connecting to the internet is very difficult, our credit cards don’t work [,,,] There’s people who need medicine, among us are kids, elderly, families,” she explained.

The actress, who has been an activist promoting the protests against the government of Sebastian Piñera [of Chile] these past months and has declared herself a support of leftist regimes int he region, finished her message with a demand that her government do something about getting her back to Chile.

I hear Chile, in response to her demand, offered her a helicopter ride . . . . .

Obama: Undocumented Illegals = Good, But Undocumented Cubans = Bad

In one of the ending moves in the waning days of the Obama administration, he sticks it to yet another group that doesn't flock to support him and of which he is less than enamored: people fleeing the socialist paradise of Cuba.

Illegal aliens aplenty can flock through our southern border and get DREAMer status as exhorted by Obama, but the idea of Cubans fleeing that socialist hellhole run by his close compadres getting legal status in the US sure seems to have stuck in his craw.

After all, how dare the ungrateful snits try and flee a communist county whose leaders Obama admires.

The Obama Apology Tour Continues Apace

Our President continues his rather shameless abasement tour, traveling the world on the taxpayer's dime and busily and embarrassingly apologizing for all non-leftist activity undertaken by the USA while hanging out and doing the wave with left-wing human rights abusers.

Recently Cuba.

Now, Argentina.

Obama went on to apologize on behalf of the US, for the US failing, in the late 70s, to criticize a right-wing regime in Argentina fighting a communist insurgency with lots of atrocities on both sides and resulting in the defeat of the Communists in Argentina.

Is there any anti-American regime he has yet to abase himself before and issue an apology in America's name?

What's next, traveling to Russia and apologizing for winning the Cold War?

We'll note he's conspicuously failed to criticize current and past left-wing regimes on human rights even as he scrapes and bows low before them now.
