The Detroit News: Nessel launches ICE, fed action tracker as agency urges cooperation
Yes, the Democrat Attorney General of a state is launching a tracker for people to report Federal immigration enforcement activity.
Again, we note that it was a most prominent Democrat, President Barack Obama, who successfully sued the states and ensured that enforcement of immigration laws is solely a federal matter.
Now why would she want a tracker? Maybe because all these illegal aliens who support Democrats in Michigan are being removed:
The Detroit News: Venezuelan man accused of entering U.S. illegally arrested in Hazel Park
The Detroit News: 'Godfather of Chaldean Mafia' deported to the Middle East, attorney says
The Midwesterner: Detroit ICE raid ends in arrest of twice-deported illegal immigrant — and two agitators
The tracking will lead to more encounters like these: Bird-flipping driver pleads guilty to 'brake checking' Border Patrol van, and perhaps produce a martyr for the cause or two as Democrats believe they have a right to resist arrest after they try to obstruct immigration enforcement activities.
What could possibly go wrong?

It is my perception that this business model is very sensitive to "false signals".
I bet that even 40% "false alarms" would de-energize the "volunteers".
Three guys pulling up to a Speedway station at 9:30 a.m. in plain-vanilla SUVs or minivans, wearing unmarked, blue polyester jackets and unmarked gray, knit caps. Then parking in front of a Coney Island type diner (90% owned by families from the Balkan nations) and sitting there sipping their coffee for 40 minutes before going in and ordering breakfast.
Or ask a computer nerd to write "a script" to send in text messages around 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. claiming ICE spottings at gas stations or coffee shops around metro Detroit.
The system would choke on its own vomit.
Eaton Rapids Joe: Yes and I believe that helpful people are already providing such in other states, and helpful people may start doing such here too, purely out of the kindness of their hearts and desire to ensure such reporting is as comprehensive as possible, of course.
I wonder what the going rate is for cold-calls from Bangalore?
