The stabbing of 11 people at the Walmart in Traverse City by a mentally ill man, made notable by the presence of an armed citizen who was there to stop the attack is now drawing copycats.

A 29-year-old man is accused of stabbing another person last week inside a Walmart in Kent County, officials said.
Again, bystanders commendably intervened to stop the attack - which si a rather positive copycat effect.
The copycat effect on the criminal side is unfortunately quite real.
