So some western proggy-types decided that they would go to Egypt and then march on the Gaza border to support Hamas and show solidarity with Gaza.
This did not work out how they planned it.
Even as, as plans go, it had all the hallmarks and forethought of a gnome-stealing-underpants scheme.
Instead of these great leftist, noble, oh-so-caring, white, saviors being welcomed as the heroes they claimed to be, they got their asses beat.
By the Egyptians.

National Post: Danielle Kubes: Naive western activists get a harsh dose of reality in Egypt
A lovely example of the self-righteous naïveté of these left wingers is the exchange one had with an Egyptian policeman:
In one video on X, you can see an Egyptian policeman say, “Please respect our country.… Your message has been already received and you can go back and turn back to Cairo.”
“We can do it in America. Why can’t we do it here?” a protester in the crowd asks.
“It’s our law,” the officer responds.
Yep, different countries are different. And while Leftists are all about diversity, as long as it's leftists on top of the diversity pyramid, they were clearly unprepared for the diversity they faced in Egypt, the land of the pyramids.
So the leftists in the March on Gaza got arrested, their asses beat, their stuff stolen, and many of them deported from the country. Now the head of the March on Gaza is calling it off as a bad idea and telling the naive participants to go home. Apparently it is much safer to harass Jews, commit vandalism, and block traffic in their home countries.

First let me say that I hate all wars, no matter who is involved. But I am also a realist and know that there are two different types of war. Just war and unjust war.
The Allies fighting against the Axis powers was a just war. The United States getting involved in overthrowing democratically elected leaders in other nations, to further our own ambitions were all unjust wars.
I think specifically of the overthrowing the Iranians elections to install the Shah, or even both the Korean and Vietnam wars were in my opinion were unjust reasons for us to get involved in the internal struggles of other nations.
Just imagine if during our own civil war that India or some far off nation were to come here, take sides and try to influence the outcome of the war to further their own national interests. We would have considered them an enemy forever, and done everything in our power to destroy them.
Of course supporting a nation that we are aligned with such as Israel against terrorism materially is much different than sending troops to help them fight. NATO, while seemingly a good idea, will prove to one day be a mistake. For example if Great Britain or Poland decides to join the fight in Ukraine against Russia, we could possibly be forced by treaty to join with them and fight Russia, something that no one in their right minds wants.
