Just back from an amazing family vacation.
Flew to London, and then spent a couple days there.
Then I got a cruise ship for a 14-day cruise to Europe and visited Gibraltar; Barcelona; Marseille and Aix En Provence; Florence and Pisa; Rome; Alghero; and Cadiz.
Only downside is that the Mediterranean is very hot in the summer and lots of walking occurred in unshaded streets.
Pretty jet-lagged at the moment and buried in work, and catching up on everything that has piled up.
Absolute nightmare coming home from Heathrow Airport, and even arriving over three hours before the flight we barely made it on. Super long check-baggage lines and even worse security lines, but we got on and got home.
Lots to blog about, many amazing and historic sights seen, and lots of good pics taken.

A gentleman from my office, John, just had the same itinerary! London for a few then 2 week Med cruise. He returned to work Monday as well.
