Two Detroit DGUs And Detroit Free Press Media Headline Malpractice

And a CPL holder protects himself from an armed robbery - in broad daylight in Detroit.

The Detroit Free press: 2 teen brothers shot while trying to rob 2 men working on public lighting pole

Note how the headline highlights puts 2 teen brothers shot in the lead, only following it with the fact that they were shot while trying to rob people. You can't keep the anti-gun bias out of the Freep.

Two teenagers were shot when they tried to rob men working on a public lighting pole on Detroit’s west side Thursday night, according to Detroit police.

The men, both 59, were in an alley between Cloverlawn and Northlawn, north of Schoolcraft, about 9 p.m. when the teens, who are 16-and 17-year-old brothers, pulled out a weapon and said they were robbing the men.

One of the men, who has a license to carry a concealed pistol, shot both teens, police said.

Yet again handguns and CPLs save lives.

No details as to whether the CPL holder had a standard capacity magazine of the type Feinstein and Obama wish to ban or not.

But that's not even the best biased headline the Freep could come up with for a Defensive Gun Use.

Try this one on for size:

The Detroit Free Press: 1 dead, 1 injured in shooting near Detroit high school

Now doesn't that headline make you think a crazed gunman killed two innocent children?

Here's what's below the headline:

A 70-year-old man was in police custody after allegedly shooting two teens during an attempted robbery, killing one and seriously injuring the other, Detroit police spokeswoman Sgt. Eren Stephens said Saturday. The shooting occurred near Martin Luther King Jr. High School on Detroit’s east side around 7:15 p.m. Friday. According to Stephens, the older man was allegedly approached by the two teens near Larned and Mt. Elliott, who announced a hold-up. The man [who had a CPL] pulled out a gun and fired shots, striking both teens. A 16-year-old died, and a 15-year-old was in serious condition at an area hospital, Stephens said.

No anti-gun media bias to be seen at the Detroit Free Press, not at all. Pathetic.
