Gov Whitmer's Pal Procrastinatingly Prosecuted

As a Michigan Democrat, you can steal from the state, but you're not supposed to be overly blatant about it, or even worse, show highly conspicuous and gauche taste in doing so.

I mean, for Democrats, it's one thing to steal $20 million from the state as a non-profit, but to spend $4,500 of it on a coffee maker and $40,000 for personal furniture? How very déclassée!

The facts have been known for over two years now, but only now is Fay Beydoun, a prominent Democrat and Governor Whitmer's friend and fundraiser, to whom the governor steered the grant,  getting prosecuted.

Michigan Department of Atotrney General: AG Nessel Charges Fay Beydoun with 16 Felonies for Stealing Global Link International Grant Funding

The Detroit News: Fay Beydoun hit with 16 criminal charges in $20M earmark scandal

The two year delay likely was done to further protect Whitmer from her role in arranging for the $20 million grant, and there are some cracks in the current Michigan Democratic coalition between the progressive-Islamic and the left-but-sane factions that are allowing some of this to bubble up.

Given how the Beydouns are a clan with ties and sympathies with Hezbollah, it'll be an interesting question as to how much of the stolen money went back to Lebanon or was used for propaganda purposes here in addition to Democrat graft.

Interesting political times for Democrats in Michigan.

Flying: Knocking Off The Winter Rust

This morning was a perfect day to get up and fly.  Winds calm, sun bright and sky totally clear below 7,000 with only a few clouds above that.

I did the preflight and all was good.  First time flying the Archer since it got a new engine.

The Archer started up immediately and it climbed into the sky like a homesick angel.

For the first pattern I had to do a go around as the prior aircraft to me did a bomber pattern and then decided to take their sweet time departing the runway.

So I got a nice go round in to stay sharp.

I then did 5 landings with three full stop and two touch-and -goes as most aircraft in the pattern were doing full stops, so Tower couldn't fit in my touch-and-goes in the traffic flow.

Lots of aircraft were flying this morning.

Landings were good and got better as I got more landings in.

So, I'm now current for carrying passengers, now on to throwing a safety pilot in the right seat and getting my IFR rating back in currency.

That's 0.8 and 5 landings.

Graduation 2026 The Saturday Ceremony

The main graduaiton ceremony took place on Saturday.

Held in the Big House, With 14,000 graduating, there was really nowhere else to hold them all along with their families and guests.

Rather packed it was, and quite chilly, with temperatures starting in the high 30s and moving into the low 40s during the ceremony.

This was a landmark ceremony as the University was going to confer its one millionth degree since its founding.   Graduating students received a commemorative tassel with 1M on it in addition to their department tassel.

The ceremony, of course, began with a land acknowledgement, which was, of course, both politically correct and purely performative.

The acknowledgment, from the first speaker, stated the land had been ceded by the Wyandot, Seneca, Delaware, Shawnee, Potawatomi, Ottawa and Chippewa under the Treaty of Fort Meigs, which it was, to forma  college for educational purposes

The University of Michigan has, for some unknown reason, made no move to hand itself back to the Wyandot, Seneca, Delaware, Shawnee, Potawatomi, Ottawa and Chippewa, nor has the University offered the descendants of the Wyandot, Seneca, Delaware, Shawnee, Potawatomi, Ottawa and Chippewa a free education at the University's expense.

Funny, that.

Then honorary degrees were given out.

Shirin Ebadi was honored with a well-deserved Doctorate of Laws.  Funny, as the majority of UofM students and much of the faculty are busy supporting the same theocracy that has stripped her of her titles and career and imprisoned her.

Michael Phelps alsp received an honorary doctorate, as did Jalen Rose. Engineer Ingeborg Hochmair received an honorary doctorate of engineering, which given her engineering accomplishments is only fitting. Regent Emeritus Ron Weiser and Kent Syverud, who was set to become the new president of the university before being diagnosed with brain cancer also received honorary doctorates.

Then a speech by Professor Peterson had to throw in a one-sided anti-Israel comment, supporting the pro-Hamas protesters on  campus and equating them with actual civil rights heroes -- and not more appropriately with civil rights villains with their attacks on Jewish students and blocking them from classes, disruptions of classes and ceremonies, and, of course, support for terrorism.

Unfortunately many students cheered this bit of crap, but many people in the audience shouted "Bull Sh#t" in response.

In short, it went as one might expect from the progressives of the University of Michigan.

Aside from that bit of leftist performative foolery, the ceremony went quite well and each department rose in turn as graduates and were allowed to move their tassel to signify their new status as graduates.

That's one down, one to go!

Graduation 2026

Abby was awarded her degree this weekend in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan.

The main graduation was on Saturday where 14,000 students earned their degrees and the University of Michigan conferred its one millionth degree since it was founded, which is quite a milestone. More on the Saturday ceremony later.

For the record, that she graduated with that degree means she is a heckuva lot smarter than I am.

In addition to that, at the smaller and much more personal graduation ceremony for the MCDB Department, on Friday evening, she walked and received her degree certificate and her thesis was announced.

She also received the award that is given to the honors undergraduate with the highest ranked thesis not just in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology but in the entire Biology Department. That make her the #1 graduate out of 600 graduates. The Review team for the award had comments that included that the thesis was not an undergraduate level but was instead a thesis at the doctoral level, which is amazing.

For the record, that means she is a heckuva, heckuva, lot smarter than I am.

The members of the lab she worked at, including the head professor of the lab, and two of her co-(and more senior) researchers and friends who had just earned their Ph.D.s were there to cheer her on.

She's going to work in the lab this summer as an actual employed (and paid!) Research Aisstant and then she will be heading out of town to a PH.D. program in  Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology to make her mark in the world doing some cutting-edge research in the field.

To say I'm beyond proud is an understatement.

Not What A Rainy Day Fund Is For

Michigan Democrats are indeed profligate spenders.

The state's budget and spending has increased by 50% just under Governor Whitmer's term to date alone.

But that's still not enough spending for Michigan's Democrats.

Instead they want to increase it, and to do so have to tap into the state's emergency fund to do so.

The Detroit News: Michigan Senate dips into rainy day fund for $88B budget plan.

Everyday budgeting is not what a rainy day fund is for, but the Democrats see a pool of money and want to spend it now rather than wait for an actual revenue shortfall where the funds would be needed.

That means under this budget state government spending is around $8,800 for  each and every resident of Michigan. If asked I don't believe most residents of Michigan would say they're getting their money's worth under this plan - especially those actually paying the taxes to cover it.

The 19 Democrats in the Senate voted for this increase, and 18 Republicans were opposed, so yet again the headline is a tad misleading.  It wasn't the Senate, but the Democrats in the Senate pushing this through.

The House has not approved this yet, so there's still hope that some responsible budgeting may yet prevail.

Convenient And Interesting Timing On CNN's Part

So, what faction of the Democratic Party wants Mallory McMorrow out of the US Senate race for Michigan that they had CNN run with the dirt it found on her?

CNN: ‘Make me miss California’: In deleted tweets, Senate candidate Mallory McMorrow disparaged Middle America

MSN: Mallory McMorrow campaign hit with resurfaced tweets showing progressive views

Not to mention the tweets show her clear disdain of Michigan, which is not a good look when you're running as the Democrat candidate for US Senate from Michigan.

So, after the Michigan Democratic Party endorsed progressive pro-Hamas Defund ICEr Abdul El-Sayed as their preferred candidate, the two remaining opponents in the race for the Dem Primary were Mallory McMorrow who is essentially progessive-lite, and Haley Stevens, who is a mainstream-ish Democrat, with Mallory trailing in the polls right behind Abdul.

So, was this timely drop the progressive pro-El Sayed faction trying to get her eliminated to clear the progressive space on the ballot?

Or, was this the more centrist and less insane pro-Stevens faction that figured hopefully correctly, that Michigan really wasn't ready for an Islamist Progressive Marxist candidate that hangs out with the guy that calls for murdering his political opponents and that America deserved 9/11?

So, anyone got K-Files to retrieve El-Sayed's deleted tweets yet, as his existing ones are bad enough?

Oh Canada, WTAF?

Canada, under the Liberal party is, in an effort to expand diversity in its military, now running Officer candidate classes full of non-citizen immigrants from Africa and elsewhere.

This diversity plan, begun under Justin Trudeau, was touted as a good thing: CAF diversity up, as permanent residents join military.

This diversity push in reality is going as well as one might expect it to do:

Juno News:  EXCLUSIVE: CAF training platoon with 83% non-citizens devolved into ethnic infighting

An explosive internal CAF report reveals a Quebec officer platoon dominated by non-citizens descended into ethnic infighting, a lack of "respect for women" peers and abysmal graduation rates.

Outsourcing your military defense pretty much never goes well.

Outsourcing your officer corps, who leads your military, to non-citizen third-world immigrants in an effort to increase "diversity", who have yet to adopt your culture, makes it so much worse:

One French-language platoon, which had over 80 per cent non-citizens, was reportedly wracked by an inability to communicate fluently, a lack of respect towards female CAF members and infighting between Cameroonian and Côte d’Ivoire candidates.

The Quebec platoon saw fewer than one in two recruits graduate, while allegations of racial discrimination were made in multiple directions, from candidates against staff and between candidates of opposing ethnic blocs themselves. Additionally, command saw “challenges” in training permanent residents as they lacked “respect towards women” peers and superiors.

“For many candidates it is the first time they have lived with members of a different sex, and for some it is also the first time they have been expected to treat women as their peers,” explained the confidential report.

“Platoons are also reporting inter-candidate cultural frustrations, with lack of respect towards women being the most common concern.”

The Canadian Armed Forces also reduced standards and the requirement for aptitude tests for candidates in this diversity push.  The results are rather predictable.

We Still Have Got 194 Countries Where This Hasn't Happened

And that ain't bad.

Yes, that happened, and it counts as a pretty major oops.

Reuters:  Polish police chief who fired grenade launcher in office is charged two years later

Poland's former national police commander was belatedly charged on Monday with illegal import and unintentional endangerment after accidentally setting off an anti-tank grenade launcher in his office in 2022.
Jaroslaw Szymczyk received mild injuries when the grenade launcher, which he said he had received as a gift during a visit to Ukraine, went off as he was moving it. Pictures obtained by local media showed that it had blasted through the floor, damaging the office below.

Talk about keeping your booger hook off the Big Bada Boom switch.

The New York Times Whistles Past The Trend Of Leftist Political Violence

Today, in The New York Times The Morning Newsletter, the paper decided to discuss the attempted assassination of President Trump yesterday with this lovely example of willfully avoiding a discussion of Leftist violence.

The guests at the dinner included many whose lives had previously been affected by gun violence, including Trump, Erika Kirk and Representative Steve Scalise, who was shot at a congressional baseball game practice in 2017.

The New York Times blithely ignores the common theme in all of these acts of "gun violence" - the perpetrator in question was a leftist in each and every one:

President Trump's current attempted assassin was a progressive leftist from California, spouting Democrat talking points. The prior one in September 2024  in Florida was also from a  registered Democrat. The one before that in July 2024 in Butler, PA was yet another progressive.

Erika Kirk - Charlie Kirk, her husband, was, you guessed it, killed by a leftist.

Steve Scalise - shot by a Bernie Bro

Funny how the New York Times fails to both notice and not comment on this trend, but just waves it away with the canard of  "gun violence".

Remember When

The Democrats were all against "Stochastic Terrorism" and political violence?

Good times, those.  These days, not so much:

Yes, that is an official County-level Democratic Party post lamenting that the latest leftist assassination attempt against President Trump failed.

Beer Street Journal: Minocqua Brewing Is Going Viral. Not For Their Beer.

On Saturday night, authorities say 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton armed with guns and knives and opened fire before being subdued by Secret Service agents. Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and several cabinet members were evacuated from the venue.

Hours later, Minocqua Brewing Company of Minocqua, Wisconsin posted to its Facebook page: “Well, we almost got #freebeerday. Either a brother or sister in the Resistance needs to work on their marksmanship or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle. We’ll never know. Regardless, we stand at the ready to pour free beer the day it happens.”

The owner of  Minocqua Brewing Company is a Democrat operative and former state-level candidate and runs a Democrat state-level PAC.

Yahoo News:   Kimmel calls Melania Trump an ‘expectant widow’ before White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel mocked President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump in a White House Correspondents' Dinner parody this week, calling her "an expectant widow" and joking about her marriage, just days before the dinner was disrupted by a shooting

MSN.com: The left's rising new star Hasan Piker endorses terrorism, violence and suggested the president should be assassinated

The Democrats have continued their tantrum and refusal to accept democratic norms since losing the election, and have continued to advocate for violence against their opponents ever since.

The Democrats sure are Sowing the Wind, and it is more than high time that they stopped before this gets out of hand.

Carry Apparel Review: Arrowhead Tactical's Dazzle Camo Concealment Trainer T-Shirt

I bought a one of the new Concealment Trainer Shirts from Arrowhead Tactical, as the weather is getting nicer here and we've gone from snow this weekend to sunny and 75 degrees within a few days and it is now t-shirt weather.

Arrowhead Tactical was out of stock on the short-sleeve t-shirts  in my size (and indeed most sizes, they seem to be quite popular) so I got one of their t-shirts with the long-sleeves

The shirt has a dazzle camouflage approach to concealment that is purported to break up the outline of your carry firearm under what is a very thin athletic shirt.

The shirt arrived quickly.

The good:  It is impressively comfortable.  The shirt material is thin, very breathable, and feels great.

Kinda cool looking, and likely to give someone a headache if they stare at you for too long.

The not so good: The thin material really sticks to both your body and to the firearm, rather than loosely draping over it, and it gives a very obvious outline.

With a Walther PDP:

The smaller but just as print-y Sig P365X:

The printing is unfortunately rather prominent with both firearms, even from a  distance. Up close, it is rather obvious that you are carrying, even with the distraction of the dazzle print.

Some of this is likely due to my having some, ahem,  reserve muscle mass around the middle. This likely makes for more printing. Possibly, if you're not quite as soft in the middle as I am at the moment, and have that classic athletic build, it might very well work better for you as demonstrated in their videos of the product.

But it doesn't work for me, so, I'm returning the Concealment Trainer Shirt.

All is not lost however, their thicker and more standard type of concealment t-shirt is just the ticket for me. That Oversized ConcealTee t-shirt works great and doesn't print nearly as much, if at all, as it is not nearly as tight to the body and doesn't cling to the firearm, so I'm keeping that one for sure.

So, if you've got an athletic body the Concealment Trainer Shirt may work well for you as it is both light and comfortable, with a pretty cool design. But, if you're like me with a not-so-athletic body, the more standard concealment t-shirt is in my opinion the way to go for summer carrying, and they're a tad cheaper, too.

Better Cleaning Through Robotics

I just got a used Roborock S7 robot vacuum cleaner and mop

For $100 used, how could I refuse?

Overall the setup took a bit of time.  I downloaded the app, managed to have it find the wifi, and get configured. No manual came with it, so I had to puzzle through a few things.

Once I got it through its initial setup, it then went off and immediately commenced mapping the floor and then returned to its dock all by itself.

It did ok with the initial mapping, identifying tables, couches, etc., and it also avoided falling down the stairs, which was good.

But, I then needed to go into the app and figure out how to edit the map it made as it thought the kitchen, hallway, and living room were all one room.

Once I edited it to make it understand these were separate rooms it worked much better.

After starting it after it had completed mapping, it immediately fired off a bunch of errors, namely due to the prior owner not changing the vacuum rollers and filter.

So, I ordered a maintenance kit from Amazon and replaced the parts and it was quite clear the prior filter had not been replaced in quite some time, if at all.

It now really hums along. Replacing the wearable parts that had clearly worn out fixed all the issues and error messages, and replacing the parts was very easy.

The vacuuming it does is impressive and pretty thorough.  It even cleverly figures out how to avoid chairs to be able to vacuum under tables even when the chairs are moved about.

It happily goes around vacuuming and it is doing quite a decent job of it saving me from having to do it.

So far I haven't tried the mop function, but will soon.

It is quite an enjoyable and happy-making watching this little robot going through the house steadfastly doing its cleaning thing, and it now deserves a name.

So Dear Readers, what shall I name my new robot?

Choices so far include:

1.  Vaccy Yoda

2.  Obi Wan Cleanobi

3. The Vaculorian

4. VAFO (Vac Around and Find Out)

Let me know your thoughts on what you think it should be named.

When There Are Insufficient White Racist Extremists Available

The SPLC allegedly paid millions to create them.

US DOJ:  Federal Grand Jury Charges Southern Poverty Law Center for Wire Fraud, False Statements, and Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering

Between 2014 and 2023, the SPLC secretly funneled more than $3 million in donated funds to individuals who were associated with various violent extremist groups including the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations, and National Socialist Party of America

A Grand Jury in Montgomery, Alabama, today returned an indictment charging the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.  The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Alabama Northern Division filed two forfeiture actions to recover alleged proceeds of the organization’s fraud scheme. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigated this case with assistance from the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI).

“The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “Using donor money to allegedly profit off Klansmen cannot go unchecked. This Department of Justice will hold the SPLC and every other fraudulent organization operating with the same deceptive playbook accountable. No entity is above the law.”

$3 million dollars certainly can assist in funding extremists who otherwise would be stuck in their mother's basements, and turn them into much more visible and active boogeymen for fundraising.

Should be quite the interesting case, and it looks like the Southern Poverty Law Center is going to need some good lawyers.

Michigan Democratic Party Goes Full Progressive Islamist

And you should never go Full Progressive Islamist.

It's a Red-Green alliance all the way now for Michigan's Democratic Party.

The Party voted to have Hasan Makled, a Hezbollah-supporting anti-semite for the Board of Regents at the University of Michigan, removing seated Michigan Jewish Democrat Jordan Acker.

The Detroit News: Finley: Michigan Democrats use convention to embrace antisemitism

Michigan's Democratic Party then went on to endorse Abdul El-Sayed for US Senate - the same Abdul El-Sayed who has Hasan Piker campaigning for him and won;t disavow Piker for saying the USA deserved 9/11, and who didn't want to talk about the death of the dictator Khamenei as it might upset his constituents, and who hand-waved away the attack on Temple Israel by saying, similar to Ilhan Omar's some people did something, that hurt people can hurt people.

The convention, while having a whole bunch of Palestinian flags flying had an almost complete lack of American flags present - the only one seen was being carried by a lone pro-Israel Democrat who had both an American and an Israeli flag.

Even some Jewish Democrats are finally waking up as to how far the Overton Window has shifted and that the Michgian Democrat Party is now the party of progressive socialism, Islam, and antisemitism:  Lakoom: The only Israel supporters on the Floor.

The Michigan Democratic Party is now outright in support of Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran.

This ain't your parent's Democratic Party.  Heck, it is not even America's anymore.

Yesterday It Was 39 Degrees Out And Even Snowed A Bit

In other words, perfect weather for the first USPSA match of the season.

This would be a classifier match with 7 classifier stages and a field course in the shoot house.

So I showed up to the range in jacket and sweater, checked in, and started wandering the stages

Kinda chilly, but at least the ground on the range was only soggy but not a complete morass of mud.

Spencer, Tosh, Jason, and Steve soon arrived and we then checked out some stages together and then gathered for the shooters' meeting.

I was RO for our squad and we had two people who had never shot USPSA before on the squad. So after a pretty detailed safety briefing, and going over the basic range commands we got started.

First stage was the shoot house which was pretty straightforward except for one potential 180 trap, and a lot of fun.

Then we started going through the classifiers.

Quite a nice variety with new classifiers I;ve never shot before and the El Presidente for a classic touch.

Lots of fun.

I did find out the mage pouches I had on my belt didn't quite hold the PDP magazines securely while running.  This resulted in them falling out as I ran to the next shooting position, which got some damp sand/dirt in them. I brushed them off and got what I thought was all the dirt out.

Not so much. This would be a problem on the next classifier stage

I was zooming through the next classifier which had 3 strings with reloads in the first two strings.  On String One I was zipping along did an great mag change, all Alphas and was doing great.

Then string 2.

I reloaded with a mag that had a bit of the gunky sand stuck that had worked its way down in between the top and second round in the magazine and the second and third rounds, stopping the gun twice, and messing up my score nicely.

On the upside, it allegedly made me look really good by immediately acting to clear the sequential jams and taking remedial action to get the gun back in shooting order.

First failure of the PDP and I really can't blame the gun.  Others had similar fun experiences, with even Glocks jamming due to the dirt clumping into the mags.

Annoying enough, when I got home and stripped the mags down to clean them, there was no dirt left inside.  Those two clumps were it. Weird.

It was a fun match and I got in over 12,000 steps chasing after shooters on the stages, especially the fun stages where they started up front with targets and have to run up-range to get to the next array.   A little cardio workout and sprint to stay ahead of them was very much in order.

So I was all sorts of tired by the end of it.  Spencer, Tosh, Jason,  Steve, and I all then went together to a Coney for a quick late lunch and headed off.

The scores came out and I finished in the middle of the pack of competitors and behind Tosh but ahead of  Spencer,  Jason,  and Steve - by three points in the case of Steve, and eight points on the case of Jason so we're all pretty darn close performance-wise at the moment. A fun time with a great bunch of shooters.

Not a bad start to the shooting season, but I certainly can use more practice and need to get to the range more.

Dam Trouble

What happens when you have 20 inches of snow pack quickly melting and days of non-stop heavy rain at the same time?

A really bad time for a lot of dams in Northern Michigan, and for the people living near them.

The Detroit News: Northern Michigan lake drained after dam failure in Alcona County

The Detroit News: Residents told to evacuate downstream of west Michigan dam

The Detroit News: Cheboygan River remains less than 5 inches from top of dam. Friday updates

Dams with their spillways fully open are still not keeping up with the water, leading to the risks of the dams failing and evacuation warnings and orders have gone out.

Bridges are also at risk of failing with two already having failed: 15 Michigan bridges close, 2 fail as flooding concerns mount

The views of the massive volumes of water coming out the spillways and still not keeping up with the flood is rather wild to see:

There's lots of homes being flooded and roads being washed out by the force of all the flood water.

the Detroit News: Northern Michigan lakeshore, homes surrounded by water after flooding

Thankfully, no one had been reported to have been hurt of killed by the flooding and hopefully and in following evacuation orders that will continue to be the case,  It's still a massive and terrible blow to people there having their homes and property destroyed.

The Detroit News: Michigan faces new road challenges from 'historic weather challenge'

It's quite bad up there, but with luck the rains will let up and allow for the dams to catch up with the water flow and avert further damage.

Gun Controller Advocates' Projection

Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax was touted as  a "Gun Safety Champion" and feted by Giffords.   Gun Safety Champion is gun control advocate speak for Gun Banner.

He was the decisive vote for Virginia's Red Flag Law, a law that was touted as reducing violence with firearms by confiscating them from those suspected of potentially being a danger to themselves or others with them - a with a lack of proper due process to boot.

In short, he was a major advocate for gun bans under the guise of gun control.

And he just shot and murdered his wife before killing himself.

Bearing Arms: Former Lt. Governor and Giffords 'Gun Safety Champion' Kills Wife, Self in Northern Virginia

If his murder of his wife wasn't such a stupid and unforgivable criminal waste, one might almost be amused at the irony of his actions.

Gun banners once again projecting their own homicidal violence onto the law abiding rest of us.

One should note that all of the laws that  Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax passed, every single one of them, did nothing to stop him from murdering his wife and then offing himself.

If A Fine Is A Tax for Doing Bad . . .

Then a Tax is a fine for doing good.

With it being tax day, I did good enough, and as a result had to write a check to the IRS as I under-withheld due to doing better this year than last year.

A pity that Election Day isn't April 16, when everyone's tax returns are fresh in their minds.

Anything Progressives Don't Like Is Genocide!

Progressives, that word just does not mean what you think it means.

Juno News: NDP MP Leah Gazan’s “MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ genocide” sparks widespread mockery

In the latest example of the cheapening of the term genocide, Leah Gazan of the New Democratic Party of Canada and Member of Parliament had this bit of nonsense to say:

“They provided $0 to deal with the ongoing genocide of MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+. Rates of violence are increasing, and the PM is turning a blind eye.”

First, before we even get to the ridiculous acronym, there is no ongoing genocide of "MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+" in Canada, as in none, nada, zero.

Words mean things (or at least they used to) and there simply is no genocide going on, no matter how much people want to feel  that  "MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+" are not just special but win the victim Olympics by virtue of simply being "MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+" and then claiming they're suffering form a genocide.

Again, for those in the back, and members of the NDP, there is no systematic and widespread extermination or attempted extermination of a national, racial, religious, or ethnic group, nor any systematic and widespread  extermination or attempted extermination to wipe out MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ from Canada, and it likely wouldn't be considered a genocide even if there was such, as the acronyms are not a and there is not a national, racial, religious, or ethnic group but a hodge-podge of people mainly defined by their sexual proclivities and interests.

A government not providing funding to government programs to do your preferred government things, or to NGOs to do NGO things that you want is not a genocide.

Much like the progressives' false claims of a Genocide in Gaza, this cry of Genocide is simply untrue and does not conform to the facts nor to reality.

Now, on to the ridiculous acronym and further showing why there isn't an ongoing genocide of the multiple people and personalities that make up MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, and boy, there are a lot of them.  As, after all, the acronym stands for:  Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two‑Spirit (a term that is used by some First Nations to describe people who embody both masculine and feminine spirits), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual people.

At least it constitutes that until another interest group can get added or new special group identified.

First, the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two‑Spirit are not missing nor murdered as part of some ongoing official or unofficial scheme, or plan.

The majority of murdered and/or missing indigenous women and girls in Canada sadly tend to be disappeared or killed in one of two main ways:

One, by other indigenous persons in acts of domestic violence; and

Two, by engaging in the sex trade, whether willingly or not and experiencing a violent end as a result or disappearing either voluntarily or not and ending up in other cities to participate (willingly or not) in the sex trade, The majority of those who become the murdered or missing in the "MMIWG" tend to be associated with the sex trade, again whether voluntarily or not.

It's certainly very ugly and not acceptable, but it is not a genocide.

You Make That Deal? I'd Make That Deal!

A Somali has culturally enriched Minnesota by stealing at least $11 million dollars from the state's Medicaid program and was caught doing so.

He was given a choice at his arraignment:

1. Pay $50k in bail money and surrender his passport; or

2.  Pay $150k and keep his passport.

Being a criminal but not a complete idiot, Abdirashid Ismail Said chose option #2, and promptly took his passport and fled with the country with the stolen $11 million dollars.

American Wire: $11M Medicaid fraud suspect flees US after judge lets him post bail, keep passport

I'd make that deal, how about you, you make that deal? I don't blame ya! Damn good deal!

That he was given such a deal is a sad commentary on the state of the justice system and judges in Minessota.   I mean, they clearly cannot do math, and have never heard of game theory at all.

A Convenient Scandal: Swalwell, The Media, and the California Democratic Shakeout

Democrats and the mainstream media have a rather incestuous relationship, where they benefit and cover for each other.

Now that the Democrats need to whittle down the field of potential Democrats running for governor of California due to the jungle primary system that they created, Eric Swalwell has to go.

You see, California Democrats instituted a jungle primary where the top vote-getters, regardless of party end up on the ballot.

The idea behind the jungle primary was to eliminate Republicans as candidates for office.

However, with such a large field of Democrats running this time, with none of them willing to conceded, this has created the potential for the unthinkable - the two Republican candidates may end up being the sole survivors of the primary with the larges share of the primary vote.

The Democrats can't have that. Would seriously upset the one-party apple cart.

So, the Democratic field of candidates must be reduced and if they won't leave, willingly, conditions must be arranged to make them drop out.

PJ Media: The Morning Briefing: Eric Swalwell's Gubernatorial Bid Gets Hit By the #MeToo Train

So, and funny how that happens, credible allegations of serious sexual assaults that happened over many years, on the part of Swalwell have suddenly and most conveniently surfaced now.

It knocks him out and serves as a message pour encourager les autres  that if there's dirt on them and they're not a star of the party, they may want to step back.

So why reference the media?  Because the Democrats and the mainstream media both knew about his activities, and both covered it up so long as he was a party member in good standing:

Yep, this reporter is stating Swalwell's behavior towards women was known - since 2013 - yet neither he, nor other reporters, nor the Party, breathed not a word of it or gave it any coverage til now when it is politically convenient to do so.

Democrats talk about a War on Women and they sure are fighting the War on Women all right - on the women.

The Dems are cosplaying with Handmaid's outfits while tolerating sexual harassment and outright assaults on women so long as the perpetrators have  (D) behind their name, and the media both covers it --and covers it up -- for them.

Mamdani Bans Times Square Public Celebration of America's 250th Anniversary

meaww.com: Fact Check: Did Zohran Mamdani ban celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary in Times Square?

The answer is yes, yes he did.

The fact that the reason given is that there is insufficient police resources to protect the celebration is most convenient indeed -- considering it is his deliberate budgetary decisions reducing police resources.

A special Times Square ball drop for America’s 250th birthday will still happen, but most people won’t be able to attend in person. Organizers confirmed that the event will take place at midnight on July 3, even after Mayor Zohran Mamdani introduced an emergency rule that limits many public events during the FIFA World Cup period in New York City.

Rather pathetic, that.

Mamdani has over $165 million to spend on funding for legal defense for illegal immigrants, but can't be bothered  and claims the city cannot afford to protect a celebration of America for Americans.

One of America's leading cities, indeed one that considers itself to BE the leading city, will not be holding a public celebration of this nation's 250th Anniversary.

Quite pathetic, but quite in character for Mayor Mamdani.

Democrats Have Syed Enough

Democrat candidate for US Senate Abdul El-Sayed not only will not discuss the death of Ayatollah Khamenei as it might upset some of his supporters he also won't disavow Hasan Piker, an anti-American and Anti-Semitic piece of garbage - who he is touring with on his campaign.

The Detroit News: Abdul El-Sayed, Hasan Piker target critics, Iran war at Michigan events

Abdul El-Sayed has steadfastly refused to disavow Piker, who has said, among many other things, that the United states "deserved" the 9-11 attack.

Politico: Michigan Senate candidate El-Sayed declines to disavow Hasan Piker’s past comments

What should have been an easy lay-up to try and lie to voters that he is a moderate, but El-Sayed was having none of it.

In short, he's a Democratic progressive candidate who hates America - but hey, he's claiming to offer free Healthcare, so credulous and traitorous Democrats will love him for it.

In other news, yet another progressive Michigan Democrat candidate, Amir Makled, running for University of Michigan Board of Regents, was caught extolling terrorist group Hezbollah and making anti-Semitic comments on his Twitter feed:  The Detroit News: University of Michigan regent hopeful deleted posts praising Hezbollah leaders.

Democrats having lost the average American, are having dalliances with decidedly anti-American, anti-liberal and Islamic elements.

This is a rather bad look for the opposition party to be consorting with supporters of anti-American terrorist groups. It's a sad commentary on how far the Democrats have fallen off the deep end and gone from a party of and for America to one being a home for and supporting the enemies of America.

Apparently For Iran, Ceasefire Doesn't Mean What We Consider Ceasefire To Mean

Often the Arabs and Iranians will say one thing in English for foreign consumption while saying the opposite in their native language. Or say ne thing while acting the opposite.

Right after the ceasefire was announced, Iran launched missiles at both Israel and the gulf states.

Mirror: Iran fires missiles at Israel minutes after Donald Trump's war ceasefire

CNBC:  Gulf countries scramble to intercept missiles hours into U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement

It is, of course, possible that the Iranians took ceasefire to mean "No attacks on us, but we can attack others", which tends to be par for the course for the type.

We will see if this was a last-minute barrage so Iran can claim they got the last salvo in, or if the ceasefire breaks down due to continuing Iranian violations.

Justice Sotomayor Must Be Happy That

She is now certifiably not the dumbest justice sitting on the Supreme Court:

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson steals that prize from Sotomayor, easily.

The Federalist: Justice Jackson’s ‘Turning Japanese’ Argument Is So Dumb It Stuns

One may hope, but certainly not expect, that the Democrats have learned not to use DEI as a selection criteria for picking Supreme Court justice candidates in the future.

Michigan Wins!

Michigan wins the NCAA Basketball Championship!

Quite a tight game, and fun to watch them beat the U Conn Huskies.

You Really Can't Hate The Mainstream Media Enough

The New York Post:  NPR didn’t quote a single member of Michigan synagogue after attack — but interviewed terrorist’s pals in Lebanon

They didn't bother interviewing those who were there, including the security guards who stopped the attack, the teachers, or all the responders who risked their lives to make sure no further attackers were in the burning building and all children were safely extracted from it.

Nope, they instead sent a reporter all the way to Lebanon  to talk to Hezbollah sympathizers and members about the attack.

One might note that NPR still receives taxpayer dollars to propagandize against America and Americans.

Something ought to be done about that.

It's Passover, So It's Time For Matzah Brei

Since you can't eat leavened bread during Passover, and this morning I wanted a good breakfast, it was time to make Martzah Brei.  Think french toast but with matzah rather than bread.

First, you break up the sheets of matzah, 2 sheets per person or more if you're very hungry.

Next, soak the broken up matzah in water for about 5-10 minutes until soft.

Once the matzah has soaked, dump it into a strainer to drain the excess water. Beat one egg per sheet of matzah in the bowl very well as the matzah sits in the strainer. Then pour the matzah from the strainer back into the bowl onto the eggs and keep stirring until the egg is all absorbed.

Heat up a frying pan with some oil or butter (or both) and keep flipping the matzah until it is no longer soggy and gets nice and crunchy but nor burned.

Serve with powdered sugar or maple syrup, or both.

And enjoy a traditional Passover breakfast.

Layers Of Fact-Checking Excellence At The New York Times

The New York Times headline speaks volumes as to the lack of general knowledge of today's journalists:

Well that "North American Treaty Organization" is a NATO that truly Needs America To Operate.

Then again the actual NATO also Needs America To Operate.

Verily, as Ben Rhodes stated regarding journalists and whether they know anything:   “Now they don’t. They call us to explain to them what’s happening in Moscow and Cairo. Most of the outlets are reporting on world events from Washington. The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.”

Ben, of course, used that lack of knowledge to manipulate the journalists to sell Obama's ridiculous and dangerous foreign policy - leading to much of the current troubles with Iran today.

Indeed, the journalists of the New York Times know nothing and have forgotten nothing.

Happy Passover To My Jewish Readers And A Wish For Good Friday And Easter To My Christian Readers

Happy Passover to my Jewish readers.  Two Seders later (one Wednesday night for the first night, and another yesterday for the second),  and we are well into celebrating Passover now.

With the attacks on Jews worldwide, including right here in West Bloomfield, this festival of freedom is even more meaningful today.

To my Christian readers, may you have a peaceful Good Friday and a happy Easter celebration.

Yep, You’re Doing Just Great

The No Kings protest can indeed be described, to reference the Bard as “All sound and fury signifying nothing”.

We will note that America has not had a king since 1776, and still does not. So I suppose the progressives can go home and congratulate themselves on a job well done today.

After all, with the close of their latest tantrum, we still have no king. Nor do we have an Ayatollah nor dictators for that matter — but these same protesters rather support the ayatollahs and the dictatorship in Cuba now don’t they?

Anyway job well done yelling that we do not have a king. A great success, I’m sure, as we did not have a king before the protest nor during the protest, nor after.

Senator Chris Murphy Says The Quiet Part Out Loud

Democrats are for illegal immigrants over Americans every darn time. Now they’re saying so out loud.

Amazing how the Democrats time and time again will butn this country down to stop immigration enforcement and prevent the removal of illegal aliens including murderers, rapists and scum, all to the detriment of American citizens.

It seems the Democrats took the saying dissolve the people and elect another as a how-to guide.

Where All The Students Are Above Average

In the continued inflation of American education, it is now admitted that students are getting higher grades on their college entrance classes for less effort and knowledge.

Education Next: The Dumbing Down of Advanced Placement Tests

The College Board, the agency in charge of the AP program, admits its questions are easier and passing scores have been lowered on key tests like the English Language exam. They justify the easier tests as an adjustment to a less demanding curriculum in high school and lowered expectations by colleges and universities. In other words, AP is simply adapting to a broad decline in educational standards.

Or to simplify: Grade inflation comes to the AP college admission tests.

Meanwhile, education costs continue to outpace inflation with lesser results.

While prevailing wisdom is that throwing more money at a problem leads to better results, Mississippi now leads in reading scores with funding per pupil far below states with far higher per pupil spending. That is, of course, because the money spent per pupil wasn't actually reaching the pupils.

The increase in Mississippi were due not to more dollars thrown at the problem but to reforms that focused on real results.

It is more than past time to stop inflating grades and dumbing-down tests and instead focus on actual reforms in our public schools.  How about we stop just throwing money at administrators, bureaucrats, and teacher's unions and getting the same results and instead focus on reforms that work?

Maybe, as a modest suggestion, how about less DEI for kids and more learn to read for starters?

Bury That Lede There Detroit Free Press

The Detroit Free Press: Eid celebrated by thousands in Michigan as war abroad dampens mood

Thousands of Muslims across Michigan celebrated Friday, March 20, the Eid al-Fitr holiday, marking the end of Ramadan, a month of spiritual reflection and fasting marred by wars abroad this year that affected many in metro Detroit.

Nice job Detroit Free Press on skipping right past the elephant in the article: three Islamic terrorist attacks in the United states during Ramadan, including one in metro Detroit a few short days ago.

No mention at all of that rather important local event, that most certainly "affected many in metro Detroit" funny, that.

Meanwhile, the 2026 Ramadan Hostility Scoreboard includes a worldwide total of at least 133 Islamic terrorist attacks with 499 people murdered in those terrorist attacks.

No other religion has quite the reputation and track record for annually going out and committing murder during their proclaimed holy days.

Iran Lied Yet Again

Remember how Obama giving Iran billions under a deal that specifically not limit Iran's ballistic missile development

Remember how in addition to claiming they weren't developing nuclear weapons they swore their ballistic missile program was restricted to a  range of 2,000 km?

Good times, those.

Anyone actually believed them was a credulous idiot, because yet again, not surprising anyone who knows about the Iranian regime, they lied.

They just launched two missiles at Diego Garcia, 4,000 km away.

While the two missiles failed to hit their targets, this is a their revealing a capability they had sworn they were not devleoping.

Fox News: Trump proven right on Iran's long-range missile capability as regime targets US-UK base, experts say

This officially puts Iran into the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile Club, and they now have missiles that can reach Paris, London and Berlin.  Hopefully that is a wake up call to European powers, and yet another reaosn to ensure the Mullahs do not remain in power.

Who Controls The Past Controls The Future

So a former patron saint of the Democrats, Cesar Chavez, a historic labor and union leader feted and revered by the Democrat, with statues and streets named in his honor, is getting the Damnatio Memoriae treatment. This is complete with statues of him being covered up pending removal from their plinths.

Why now? After all, the allegations of his sexual improprieties date from the 1960s and 1970s, but as a famous Democrat and his usefulness of his legacy to the Democrats for both the Hispanic and union votes, he's gotten a complete pass.

Until now.

A couple possible reasons:

 1. His very well-known stance against illegal immigration and its depressing legal workers wages is becoming very politically inconvenient at this time. Chavez was not just against illegal immigration, he was vociferously against it, even ordering the beating of the heck out of illegals who moved in on his farm workers union labor and reduced their wages - even forming his own "Border Patrol" to turn them back- and not with gentle processing, either.

This is just Democrats putting illegal immigrants above Americans as usual, and rewriting history to claim they have always supported the "undocumented".

2. One of his descendants, Julie Chavez Rodriguez is one of the éminence grise, the powers behind the throne, of the Democrat party.  Her credentials include being a former campaign manager for Kamala Harris's 2024 presidential campaign, right after being a campaign manager in President Joe Biden's 2024 re-election campaign. She was also working behind the scenes for President Obama and has come up through the farm union - with its prior stance against illegal immigration.

It is quite possible that there is some internecine struggle for power inside the Democrat party, and someone wants her gone, and is attacking her by attacking her grandfather's legacy.

For whatever reason, the Democrats are proceeding apace with airbrushing Cesar Chavez from Democrat political history.

Temple Israel Attack Aftermath

There's now videos online of the various police agencies clearing the synagogue and rescuing children from the school that were there at the time of the attack.

Unlike the Cowards of Broward or the Unqualified of Uvalde, they went about aggressively clearing the building and rescuing everyone, and ensuring everyone was taken out of the burning building. While they knew the attacker was dead at that time, having been pinned by the security guards leading him to shoot himself,  the police didn't know if there were any other attackers still there and they searched and cleared the entire building.

They did a great job, got everyone out at serious risk to themselves, with quite a number of them suffering from smoke inhalation as they put their lives on the line to save innocents,  and  make sure everyone was out.

In short, the responding police agencies did their jobs, and did them well.

The pictures of the interior show the extensive damage from the fire.

The Detroit News:  Temple Israel shows inside of synagogue in aftermath of attack.

It's going to be quite some time before the synagogue can be used again and it needs to be extensively repaired and renovated.

When Even Al Jazeera Says It

Then mayhaps the US is indeed winning, and decisively winning,  the current conflict with Iran.

Al Jazeera: The US-Israeli strategy against Iran is working. Here is why

For Al Jazeera, the Qatari, pro-Iranian media to publish this piece means things are likely going very, very, well for the US in this conflict - so much so that the results can't be hidden:

- Top Iranian leadership dead and successors keep getting eliminated as they get announced

- Achieving Air Superiority on the way to Air Supremacy in the skies over Iran

- Iranian nuclear, weapons, and command and control and communication sites getting worked over repeatedly.

- Dismantling of Iran's air defense network, touted as some of the finest Russian and Chinese technology available.

- Sinking Iran's Navy wherever it can be found including it's mine-layers.

- Reducing Iran's ballistic missile and drone attacks by 90% so far

-Now playing whack-a-Basiji thug in the streets on demand via drone. Iranian citizens are reporting locations of Basiji checkpoints, and the US and Israel send drones over to whack them and thus save civilian lives from those thugs.

The Democrats and the Mainstream media both want the USA to lose and Trump to suffer a defeat in time to boost the Democrat's chances for the midterms.   Party over country for them, every time.

In short by any metric the US and Israel are winning, and are on the way to winning decisively.  Don't let the Democrats and the Media tell you otherwise.

Victor Davis Hanson puts it rather succinctly: Victor Davis Hanson: This Is A Surreal War, What Is Actually Happening In Iran Is Not Being Reported

Well worth a watch, that.  In short don't be misled by claims that 2 weeks in we're somehow in a "forever war" and Iran is winning.  It is not. But Iran's regime and the Left and the media are desperately hoping a propaganda campaign can save them and deal a defeat to President Trump, America, and Israel in spite of the facts on the ground and in the air.

Still No Word From Megan Rapinoe

Of the members of the Iranian women's Soccer Team who originally were going to seek asylum in Australia or the USA rather than return to Iran, all but three have reversed that decision and will be returning to Iran, where they will likely be killed for publicly daring to defect, not to mention removing their hijabs.

CBS News: 3 more members of Iran women's soccer team change course, decline to accept asylum in Australia

Have your families remaining behind in Iran being threatened with death or worse by the regime if you do not return will do that to you.

Meanwhile, Megan Rapinoe, that "champion" of women's issues and soccer, who is all for men participating as women in women's sports, and who has "most stunningly and bravely" called out the US men's hockey team for celebrating their victory, apparently can't be bothered to publicly support real women in her own sport who are in very real danger.

Fox News: Piers Morgan rips Megan Rapinoe as 'hypocritical' over silence on Iranian women's soccer team

Then again, the left and progressives have been remarkably silent, if not outright supportive of the Iranian regime, so it is not really a surprise.

Three Attacks. Three States. Democrats Still No On DHS Funding.

There were three Islamic terrorist attacks in the past week.

One in New York.

One in Virginia.

One in Michigan.

And all six Democrat senators from these states have uniformly continued to refuse to vote for funding the Department of Homeland Security.

Verily, they have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.

CBS News:  Senate fails again to advance funding for DHS as tempers flare over stalemate

Only Democrat Senator Fetterman had the basic common sense among Democrats to vote for funding DHS.

The Democrats are once again prioritizing illegal aliens over Americans.

Sunday Range Trip

Given recent events, there was more of a rationale to get to the range and get better.

Met up with Tosh at the range. It was in the low 30s and breezy,

I had just put a new suppressor on the PS90 , so I took it to the range and got some trigger time in.

It's a Polonium K, replacing the SilencerCo Hybrid 46 that is going to be used on another rifle.

The Polonium K is both thinner and smaller than the 46 and took only two days of ATFE processing from start to finish (compared to the 46's over a year to get approved) and no tax. Thank you President Trump!

It looks much better on the PS90 than the 46, and given the suppressor bore size, suppresses better than the 46.

I'm quite happy with it, makes the PS90 package footprint even smaller, and the PS90 keeps running like a champ.

After some rifle and PDW fun, we got on to practice with pistols.

I ran the Walther PDP, and it ran through all the drills without any issues.

All drills were done from concealment and given the weather we had on rather heavy sweatshirts for the drills.

We started with the single shot from concealment to the 7 yard A-zone drill.

I definitely had some rust to shake off.  I was getting hits in around 1.5-1.4 seconds once I settled in, with some much higher times as well.

We then did the 3&2 drill and I did better with that  getting under 3 seconds pretty regularly and some runs under 2.5 which was good.

Then on to Bill Drills.  I was able to get under 3.0 seconds which was good, and I'm still chasing the sub 2 second time - from afar.

For the final drill,  the one shot from concealment to an A-Zone at 25 yards we ended with a bang.  My best times were two at 1.60 seconds, and generally I was around 1.78-1.70 on average, which was pretty happy-making for me.

Tosh, by comparison, was averaging a fast 1.65, and had a couple at 1.6, and one at a blazing fast 1.35 seconds which is fantastic. The man can shoot.

A most challenging bit of practice, and it just points out I've got lots to work on to improve.

Active Shooting Attack At Temple Israel In West Bloomfield

So far details are sketchy, but police are warning that there has been an active shooting  and vehicle ramming attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

Schools in the area went into lock-down and there is a heavy police response, as it should be.

The Detroit News:  Active shooter incident at West Bloomfield Twp. synagogue

Waiting on more details, but its unlikely to be the Amish, just saying.

Update 2:36pm:  A fire was caused by the vehicle ramming attack, and the shooter has now apparently been effectively engaged and is now deceased.

Update 8:46pm:  Attacker was stopped and killed by Armed security.

And, exactly as predicted it was not the Amish.

Attacker is Ayman Ghazali of Dearborn Heights and he's an expatriate from Lebanon, likely with ties to Hezbollah.

FBI has described it as a targeted attack against the Jewish community. No kidding.

Mug Him Again!

There was a joke, coincidentally told first in New York City, about a liberal judge, known for being soft on criminals and giving them light sentences for crimes due to, in his mind, that they were just misunderstood victims of society.

This judge related during a presentation on his lenient sentencing policies that he had just been mugged on the way to the same presentation.

"Not to worry", he told the approving progressive crowd, "this unfortunate mugging will not change how I rule from the bench!".

An old lady in the crowd then yelled "Mug Him Again!".

When the Islamists threw their bombs at the Gracie Mansion, there was a similar but absolutely real display of progressive suicidal empathy.

During the demonstration,  a man, Walter Masterson, who happens to be a far-left comedian (which is kinda fitting but he's not particularly funny) with a megaphone on the pro-Islamist side of the demonstration, had in fine progressive leftist fashion just piously announced

"as a born and raised New Yorker, we welcome everyone into this city"

Just as he said that, "Pennsylvania teenager"  Emir Balat threw a bomb right over his head, complete with an  "Allahu Akbar" which apparently, per leftists,  is Arabic for "Thank you for your welcoming feelings":

Masterson ducked.

Has this experience changed Mr. Masterson's outlook on welcoming jihadists to the city of New York at all?

No, it has not. Instead he proudly stated the event has not changed his leftists outlook at all, and he "didn’t become a xenophobic bigot” from the experience.

Thank goodness for that.

In short, he has learned nothing from it.

An impressive display of leftist suicidal empathy

Maybe throw a bomb over his head again?
