Today's stupid criminal again exemplifies why they call marijuana dope.
It's because marijuana sure doesn't make you smarter.
Our intrepid ne'er-do-well decided that when the police raided his marijuana growing facility he would attempt a daring escape: Jumping into and paddling his canoe out on a pond on his property. A pond mind you, not a lake or river that actually might have gotten him somewhere to make an effective escape.
Not exactly a cunning plan.
He eventually came back to land after his brief paddle about the pond and surrendered.
