A spit-take mind you, but quite a take all the same:

That the Russians are saying that is rather hilarious. 

That thread on Twitter of the Russians going on how the Maduro grab was unimpressive and they would have done it so much better is just amazing for its pure distortion and inversion of reality.

We will note the Russian special forces attempted just such a smash and grab in Ukraine and it happily failed spectacularly, leaving lots of dead "elite" Spetsnaz and VDV troops behind - smashing the myth of Russian Special Forces awesomeness and even their delusions of adequacy.

Heck, Russia went from being touted as the second best military in the world to being the second best military in Ukraine.

Surprise! Criminals And Their Families Lie.

I mean, who knew that criminals and their families might be less than forthcoming with the truth about an incident?

In this particular scenario, the criminal in question, Rakim Wright, did it wrong.

Fleeing from police after a domestic violence call and  shooting at them while doing so, then shooting himself before he could be arrested, resulting in Rakim assuming room temperature and leaving one less violent domestic abuser in the world.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to whip up a "hands up don't shoot" false narrative, and a shot at winning the ghetto lottery, witnesses and family claimed that "Wright was unarmed and shot by the officers".

 The police video of the incident shows otherwise:

 Yes criminals lie, their family lies, and witnesses lie. 

We will note this was not Wright's first time of doing things wrong, but it was his last:

Wright also had previous arrests for assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, and felony weapons charges.  

Who Ya Gonna Believe? Gov Half-Whit Or Your Own Lyin' Eyes?

Seriously, our dear Gov Half-Whit seems to have a compulsion to tell lies and more lies to fit her narrative, even when its not necessary, and especially when her lies are so easily disproven.

The latest: Her woke BLM claim that if Blacks had shown up armed at the Michigan Capitol to protest they would likely have been killed.

The problem is that Black and Hispanics already did show up armed at the capitol and to no one's surprise were not harmed in any way. The Detroit News: 'We have to arm ourselves': Black Michigan demonstrators protest brutality

In short the very same scenario where she claimed that Blacks would be killed for doing so, and Blacks had already done so before she made her claim and nothing happened.

Mainly this is so because they didn't riot, didn't damage property, didn't threaten anyone, were law-abiding, and properly exercised their second amendment rights like any other adults.

So yes, her latest woke BLM-themed lie was disproved even before she said it.

Gov Half-Whit Even Lied About Always Wearing A Mask At The Protest

It is good to know that the Coronavirus has a sense of social justice and lack of social distancing is not a problem at a BLM protest, as that's socially importanter than the spread of the Coronavirus.

In other news, remember how Gov Half-Whit violated her own social distancing rule at the protest?

Remember how she claimed she didn't violate it because she was wearing a mask for the protest and not hugging or high-fiving anyone, even as she violated the 6-foot rule of her executive order?

Turns out she in fact did not wear a mask the whole time and it's caught on video.

In this age of progressive hate and rage, we have the specter of a plethora of fake and staged "hate crimes" against muslims:

The Baruch College business major told cops she’d actually been out drinking with friends and lied about the attack to distract her strict Islamic father, who’d been furious over her being out late, sources told The Post.

In Ann Arbor: The Detroit News: Police: Woman who was told to remove hijab was lying

A University of Michigan student whose story was reported worldwide was not telling the truth when she told police she was threatened by a man who told her to remove her hijab and could now face felony charges for filing a false report, Ann Arbor police said Wednesday.

The woman told police that the man would set her on fire with a lighter if she did not remove her hijab, a headscarf worn by Muslim women, so she complied then fled the area of East William near State Street. Her story appeared in global publications last month couched as a hate crime following the win of President-elect Donald Trump.

But her report did not add up after Ann Arbor and UM police and the FBI interviewed multiple witnesses and reviewed video surveillance in the area of the alleged incident, said Detective Sgt. Matthew Lige of the Ann Arbor Police Department.

“This crime never happened,” Lige said.

Note that all of these false reports received very favorable and uncritical initial press treatment as this fit the media and Democrats' narrative far too well: All those evil Trump-supporting, cousin-humping haters were going out committing hate crimes in the wake of his winning. Apparently not so much as so many of these supposed hate crimes keep coming up as either false, staged, or by Muslims and directed at other groups while trying to sell it as a Trump supporter's acts.

If it weren't for fake hate crimes against and perpetrated by Muslims, there might very well be damn few hate crimes against them at all. False reports in the wake of Trump's victory certainly seem to be skyrocketing.

Who're Ya Gonna Believe? A Democrat Mayor Or Your Lying Eyes and Ears?

Baltimore's Democrat mayor is feeling the heat for her incompetence in letting the rioters run amok and giving them tacit permission in her speech on April 25th to do so. She has now stated on April 27 that

"I never said, nor would I ever say, that we are giving people space to destroy our city. So my words should not be twisted.”"

Well, let's see what she actually said on April 25, which luckily for the historical record, was captured on video:

“I wanted to give space to those who wished to destroy,” that is how Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake described her policy Saturday at a press conference.

So, Who're ya gonna believe, the digital record of her statement, or her denial that she ever said it?

Let's see if the MSM and her fellow travelers let her denial stand without challenge shall we?

Text Not Pics Of Yer Hoo-Hah, Lest They Arise In Discovery To Embarrass Thee

Just a quick word to those who need it, and I expect my regular readers don't, being smarter than the average smartphone user, but for those who stumble upon this blog:

Look - taking naked pictures of yourself, or closeups of certain, shall we say, private parts of yourself, or parts of yourself meshed with parts of others, and then texting them to your friend with benefits so they can remember the moment is just not a good idea.

Taking video of the intimate moment and sending it on is an even worse idea (Look, when someone says they want to take a video of you in a compromising position and promise not to show it to anyone else and that no one else will never, ever see it - they're lying. Trust me on this.)

More worse still is to send such things to someone who you then become entangled with in a lawsuit that anyone outside the two of you could have seen coming a mile away.

Its an even worse idea when you also have multiple statements and admissions relative to the case in your texts, making all the texts discoverable.

This then forces your attorney to have to go through these texts and look for discoverable and relevant evidence, thus being exposed to things they really don't want to see while they discover the other side admitting to all sorts of legally significant things in the texts.

Ick. Eww. Yuck. I now need brain floss, and probably brain bleach.

Thankfully, in this case both idiots are way above the age of consent so we don't have a really serious problem with the texts. They're bad enough as is.

So please, practice safe text.

Your attorneys and your later self image when you get over how stupid you were will thank you.
