Yep, they do good! :-) And are flying the oldest F-18s in the Navy! Quite the credit to the maintainers!!!

Old NFO: Yes indeed, the Blue Angles are an awesome team from the ground crew through the pilots.
Back in the late 70's/early 80's, I lived under the final approach for NAS Moffett, and the routines of the Blue Angels seemed to have some of them using my approximate location as their turning point. I would go up on the roof (single story) to watch. I could see them having to pull up to clear a group of tall trees, and then push over to stay as low as possible. I could look into the cockpit of one that would turn very close to me. When observing from the base, you didn't see them coming, since they were flying nap of the earth, basically.
Wouldn't surprise me if the ground crew had to remove some greenery occasionally.
