Occupy Activists Spring Forth, Then Rebound Off Of Reality

The Detroit News: Occupy activists spring forth
As spring is upon us, the OWSers leave their union-provided hotel rtooms and head for the parks yet again. Just as before the winter, Occupy still lacks any clear message and its adherents continue to lack a clue as well:

"I'm really grateful to be part of a generation that wants change, 'cause we should all want change," said Jennifer Campbell, a graduate student in documentary filmmaking at Hofstra University. "But I'm not sure what that change is, or if they know what that change is."
Wow. A more vacuous statement would be hard to make up.

Its almost as if Occupy Wall Street has become a Seinfeldianesque "Occupy About Nothing".

Apparently, Hofstra students who major in film making have gone the full post-modernesque tautology in their thoughts as well as their film making. At least she didn't complete the though with "we are the change we have been changing for..."

I'm sure she's all for forgiving student loans, especially once she realizes that after paying $45,000 per year in tuition that documentary film making is hardly the lucrative career it is cracked up to be.
