The Revolving Door Stabbing Plan

More revolving door criminal justice in Michigan, this time out of Washtenaw County:

MILive: Man sentenced to year in jail, 2 years probation for slashing man’s neck

A man who pleaded guilty to slicing a man’s neck in downtown Ann Arbor will spend roughly 90 days in jail.

Kimani Angelo Hamilton, 30, was sentenced to one year in jail and two years of probation after he pleaded guilty to two counts each of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault less than murder, according to court records.

And this isn't his first jaunt into stabbing and attempted stabbing.

The other charges stem from a second aggravated assault around 1 p.m. May 26 near South Fourth Avenue and East Huron Street, Page said.

He pleaded guilty Jan. 28.

Hamilton has previously been convicted of a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery after he pulled a knife on a 35-year-old man while inside The Blind Pig, 208 South First St. in November in Ann Arbor. [for which he got all of 93 days in jail]

So he'll now be out in 90 days after slashing someone in the neck.  Any bets on how long it will be until his next stabbing will take place?

I recall the news media crying with huge tears of so called fear when Michigan passed the concealed carry shall issue law. Yet one has to wonder if those who were accosted by this monster had been carrying a weapon and had chosen to deploy it in defense of their lives if things would have turned out much differently.
Naturally we have not seen the blood running in the streets or the traffic fender benders ending in another OK Corral shootout that various media outlets including my local television stations predicted.
