After many cancellations due to Covid, Selfridge Air National Guard Base opened up this weekend to the public for it's 100 Year Anniversary Open House and air show.
To say it was an awesome show would be an understatement.
One of the highlights was the flight demonstration put on by the very last F-100 Super Sabre in the world that is in flying condition:
Many more pics to follow.
Oh, and the 10,000 steps I took at the air show may have proven to be a tad ambitious.

Ouch... Hope you didn't over do it!
Aaron,
Slow and steady wins the race. But you know that. Airshow steps only count for half because the adrenaline rush pumps your blood throughout your body (to include the hips) at twice the rate. end Medic BS.
Hope you feel better soon.
Oh...Great pics! Thanks.
"The very last F-100...still in flying condition." Ouch, now I'm feeling old. In the early '60s our family lived near Hill Air Force Base in Utah. F-100s were a common sight in sky over our house, as well as the local air shows. Always thought the "Hun" was one of the best looking birds of that era.
