Walking along the side of my house and saw this:
Yep, poison ivy is back, and quite a bit of it in fact. Seems to have come in from the neighbor's patch.
Application of appropriate chemical warfare materials for Round 2 of the Battle of the Poison Ivy Patch will commence shortly.

What do you use on it? We bought some "Tough Brush Killer" that we liberally applied to a sumac tree that just wouldn't go away.
LOL, don't let it be and learn a 'lesson' or three...
Just one word for poison ivy: Die!
My late uncle was so touchy with Poison Ivy that if you burned it, and he walked in the smoke, he broke out with a rash.
My grandmother told me about the time he got into a patch of it, and got covered from head to toe with red rash, inside of his legs, his neck all around, back, front, soles of his feet, just everywhere.
The only way he could feel some relief was to lay in bed with just a sheet on and get cool sponge baths, along with that old standby, Calamine lotion. In all of the time I spent in the woods, I have never gotten it. But I am sure that it is miserable.
drjim: This go-round we're trying Round Up Poison ivy plus and tough brush killer.
Application 1 is done, we'll see how it does.
Old NFO: Yep, it's gotta go.
ProudHillbilly: Yes indeed, working on it.
pigpen51: Not sure if I'm sensitive to it or not, but best to eradicate it all just in case.
Just looked in the garage....our stuff id from Ortho, but probably the same.
