Thunder Over Michigan 2021 - The Static Displays

There were far fewer aircraft on static display this year.  I guess all the uncertainty regarding whether the show would be in/by the car only kept the aircraft away.

Still, there were some to see:

A Convair SNV-1 Valiant a World War 2 training aircraft.

A gorgeous T-6 Texan:

A T-28 Trojan

A pair of T-6 Texan IIs

Of course, some people can't avoid messing with $8.9 million dollar airplanes.  Get a load of this moron going up to the Texan II and playing with the propeller:

First of all, you don't touch a multi-million dollar airplane without permission.

Second you never play with a prop.  There's is always a chance that the prop can kick or even start up and turn into a rather large and high-powered Cuisinart with your body parts becoming the vegetables being chopped up rather fast.

Yes the idiot played with the prop, spinning it around, until she got shooed away and told to stop touching it.

Then the B-25s started getting towed from the static display area to the taxi way for the air show to begin.

Never touch ANY airplane without permission, no matter what the cost.
