It was a lovely journey back home tonight from Toronto with lots of freezing rain and snow to make the drive back extra pleasant.
Global Warming my foot:
Focusing on numismatics, and commenting upon current legal and world events, not to mention asides into the world of scuba diving, flying, and fine firearms.
And they're bitching about the heat in Western and Southern Australia... :-)
ReplyDeleteOw!
ReplyDeleteI heard freeze warning, wintry mix, and possible snow for here tonight. Well, sort of heard - I had my hands over my ears and was chanting "Lalalalalalal...."
You have my sympathy, and empathy, regarding your mad dash drive home. Being a family who likes to take our skiing when we can, we have driven through some nasty stuff to get to and from ski areas. The older I get the worse that gets.
ReplyDeleteOld NFO: We can use some of that up here.
ReplyDeletePH: Yep, couldn't beleive it myself until I started driving through it.
Knucklehead: Thanks, and you're right that driving in blinding snow is just no fun even if you're heading to a ski slope and certainly not when you're headed home - in April.
